  • Publication number: 20210273884
Abstract: The adaptive overlay network architecture of the present invention improves the performance of applications distributing digital content among nodes of an underlying network such as the Internet by establishing and reconfiguring overlay network topologies over which associated content items are distributed. The present invention addresses not only frequently changing network congestion, but also interdependencies among nodes and links of prospective overlay network topologies. The present invention provides a prediction engine that monitors metrics and predicts the relay capacity of individual nodes and links (as well as demand of destination nodes) over time to reflect the extent to which the relaying of content among the nodes of an overlay network will be impacted by (current or future) underlying network congestion.

  • Publication number: 20210067077
Abstract: In the fault-tolerant direct thrust-force control (FT-DTC) method, the generalized Clarke transform matrix and its inverse matrix are derived according to the fault-tolerant phase currents. The stator fluxes in ?-? plane are deduced based on these. Based on the requirement of circular stator flux trajectory, virtual stator fluxes are defined, and then compensatory voltages in the ?-? plane are obtained. Actual stator voltages in the ?-? plane are calculated by modulation function of voltage source inverter. Combining with the compensatory voltages, the actual stator voltages and the stator currents, the virtual stator fluxes and the thrust-force are estimated by the flux and thrust-force observers. The thrust-force reference, the stator flux amplitude reference, the observed thrust-force and virtual stator flux are applied to predict virtual stator voltage references.

  • Publication number: 20210031634
Abstract: A multi-motor switching system and method for obtaining a global optimization of performance criteria that takes into account variables and conditions across an entire driving cycle. The controller of the system is adapted to conduct a global optimization in that it determines the most optimal distribution of motor loads over an entire trip or driving cycle, as opposed to sequentially determining the optimized solution for a given point of time and localized set of current condition. In one embodiment where the control system provides for global optimization, the controller receives trip information through a trip planning tool. The controller utilizes the trip information to generate a driving cycle and further incorporates this information into the optimization process performed by the controller to determine the optimal solution for the entire trip.
