  • Publication number: 20240032954
Abstract: Systems and methods can remove material of interest, including blood clots, from a body region, including but not limited to the circulatory system for the treatment of pulmonary embolism (PE), deep vein thrombosis (DVT), cerebrovascular embolism, and other vascular occlusions. The capture system can include a tubular body comprising a first end, a second end, and an axial length therebetween, the first end having an opening and a capture guide. The capture system can include one or more tensioners coupled to the capture guide. The tubular body has a first configuration in which the first end and the capture guide are expanded while the second end and a majority of the tubular body remains compressed. The tubular body is transformable to a second configuration by application of tension by the tensioners. The catheter can remove a large volume of clot. In some embodiments, the body of the catheter or the funnel tip is expandable. The catheter can include a dilator and a peel-away cover.

  • Publication number: 20230414900
Abstract: Disclosed herein are expandable introducer sheaths and methods of making and using the same. The sheaths minimize trauma to a patient's vasculature by allowing for temporary expansion of a portion of the sheath to accommodate passage of a delivery system for a cardiovascular device, then return to a non-expanded state after the passage of the device. The sheath includes an elongated annular member through which the cardiovascular device and its delivery system pass. In an embodiment, the annular inner member can be formed by coextruding a first and second material. The first material includes a fold, and the second material radially spaces the different parts of the fold from each other during fabrication and provides support for maintaining the tubular structure. The second material is removed once the coextrusion process is complete.

  • Publication number: 20230275785
Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods for channel estimation and data detection. In one exemplary embodiment, the data is obtained in a two-phase transmission structure that alternates known data with unknown data according to a regular or otherwise pre-determined time interval. Then, the receiver iteratively updates a postulated channel, and provides a predicted channel to the next time slot. Conceptually, the exemplary techniques iteratively improve its postulates for channel condition and data over multiple time slots. More directly, instead of linear detection and decoding of a pilot for channel estimation in each time slot, the exemplary techniques described herein use postulated channel conditions to attempt data detection and use the recovered data from data detection (unknown data) to re-postulate the channel conditions, etc. until channel conditions are stable and/or the next time slot is ready for processing.

  • Publication number: 20230275549
Abstract: An amplifier system with high gain, compact size, and extended bandwidth is disclosed. The amplifier system includes one or more inputs configured to receive one or more input signals and a pre-driver configured to receive the one or more input signals. The pre-driver may comprise source connected FETs which create a virtual ground and may include inductors which cancel or counter parasitic capacitance of the FETs. The pre-driver amplifies the one or more input signals to create one or more pre-amplified signals, which are provided to a voltage divider network configured to reduce a DC bias voltage of the one or more pre-amplified signals, while maintaining a wide bandwidth range. An amplifier receives and amplifies the output of the voltage divider network to create amplified signals. The amplifier may comprise mirrored FET pairs in a common source configuration and a common gate arrangement.
