  • Patent number: 10628968
Abstract: A system and method for determining an IR image offset and calibrating a depth sensing camera to account for the offset is provided. An RGB-D camera may image a checkerboard pattern at a known distance and location. The checkerboard pattern may be provided on a planar device, such as a board. A three-dimensional primitive shape may be placed at in a known location in relation to the checkerboard. Depth data may be obtained from the checkerboard with the primitive shape. As the system knows the actual depth of the primitive shape, a depth offset may be calculated from the returned depth information from the RGB-D camera. The system may determine the offset between the depth information and the color image. The offset may be taken into account to produce more accurate RGB-D images.

  • Patent number: 10574575
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for flow stitching network traffic flow segments at a middlebox in a network environment. In some embodiments, a method can include collecting flow records of traffic flow segments at a middlebox in a network environment including one or more transaction identifiers assigned to the traffic flow segments. The traffic flow segments can correspond to one or more traffic flows passing through the middlebox and flow directions of the traffic flow segments with respect to the middlebox can be identified using the flow records. The traffic flow segments can be stitched together based on the one or more transaction identifiers and the flow directions of the traffic flow segments to form a stitched traffic flow of the one or more traffic flows passing through the middlebox. The stitched traffic flow can be incorporated as part of network traffic data for the network environment.

  • Publication number: 20200030572
Abstract: Disclosed herein are expandable introducer sheaths and methods of making and using the same. The sheaths minimize trauma to a patient's vasculature by allowing for temporary expansion of a portion of the sheath to accommodate passage of a delivery system for a cardiovascular device, then return to a non-expanded state after the passage of the device. The sheath includes an elongated annular member through which the cardiovascular device and its delivery system pass. In an embodiment, the annular inner member can be formed by coextruding a first and second material. The first material includes a fold, and the second material radially spaces the different parts of the fold from each other during fabrication and provides support for maintaining the tubular structure. The second material is removed once the coextrusion process is complete.

  • Patent number: 10524905
Abstract: Embodiments of an expandable sheath can be used in conjunction with a catheter assembly to introduce a prosthetic device, such as a heart valve, into a patient. Such embodiments can minimize trauma to the vessel by allowing for temporary expansion of a portion of the introducer sheath to accommodate the delivery apparatus, followed by a return to the original diameter once the prosthetic device passes through. Some embodiments can include a sheath with inner and outer layers, where a folded portion of the inner layer extends through a slit in the outer layer and a portion of the outer layer overlaps the folded portion of the inner layer. Some embodiments include an elastic outer cover positioned outside the outer layer. Embodiments of the present expandable sheath can avoid the need for multiple insertions for the dilation of the vessel, thus offering advantages over prior art introducer sheaths.
