  • Publication number: 20240269626
Abstract: Methods and systems of admixing hydrocarbon liquids from two or more sets of tanks into a single pipeline to provide in-line mixing thereof. In an embodiment of the in-line mixing system, hydrocarbon liquids stored in at least one tank of each of two or more sets of tanks positioned at a tank farm are blended into a blend flow pipe via in-line mixing and the blended mixture is pumped through a single pipeline. In one or more embodiments, the in-line mixing system employs a separate spillback or recirculation loop that is fluidly connected to each set of the two or more sets of tanks to control the flow of the hydrocarbon fluid/liquid from each set of tanks to the blend flow pipe. Associated methods of operating one or more embodiments of the system include regulation of spillback or recirculation loop flow rate and/or pressure to drive the actual blend ratio towards a desired blend ratio.

  • Publication number: 20240261792
Abstract: A method of separating contaminants from at least one continuous fluid stream. The method includes steps that are performed inside of a solids dissociation apparatus (SDA) and inside of a solids separation apparatus (SSA) for separating contaminants from at least one continuous fluid stream. The method includes steps of eviscerating the contaminants in the at least one continuous fluid stream inside of SDA upon pumping the at least one continuous fluid stream in SDA, generating a traveling sonic wave in SDA, and cavitating the at least one continuous fluid stream in SDA. The method also includes steps of removing the eviscerated contaminants of a first configuration from the at least one continuous fluid stream by SSA upon generating a standing sonic wave in SSA and forcing the eviscerated contaminants into at least one set of ports of at least one removal stage of a tower of SSA.

  • Publication number: 20240232904
Abstract: A system comprises at least one computer device in communication with one or more server computers. The system converts unstructured text into usable order details, and uses instant messaging to notify recipients of the order details. The notices include electronic web links that launch a web interface that generates an editable, pre-populated electronic order ticket based on the order details. Submission of the electronic order ticket launches an auction during which the recipients may respond with offers to fulfill to the electronic order ticket. If after the auction more than one response is needed to fill the electronic order ticket, the system automatically allocates how and in which order the responses will be used to fill the electronic order ticket. If the electronic order ticket is not completely filled after the auction, the electronic order ticket is submitted to one or more additional exchanges for further filling.
