  • Patent number: 10742605
Abstract: Detecting and blocking content that can develop undesired behavior by artificial intelligence (AI) entities toward users during a learning process is provided. Input information is received for a set of one or more AI entities. Characteristics of the input information are evaluated based on rules of a selected policy from a set of policies and learned characteristics of information associated with a corpus of information. It is determined whether a result of evaluating the characteristics of the input information exceeds a predefined threshold. In response to determining that the result of evaluating the characteristics of the input information exceeds the predefined threshold, the input information for the set of AI entities is filtered by performing a selective filtering action, using a firewall, based on context of the input information.

  • Patent number: 10728321
Abstract: Automatically sharing resources between devices is provided. A communication channel is established with a trusted data processing system over a network. In response to establishing the communication channel, a list of resources available for sharing between the data processing system and the trusted data processing system is shared via the communication channel. It is determined whether a match for a resource requested by the trusted data processing system exists in the list. In response to determining that a match for the resource requested by the trusted data processing system exists in the list, a matching resource is automatically shared with the trusted data processing system via the communication channel.

  • Patent number: 10636282
Abstract: Security system devices are configured to retrieve historic first sensor data acquired from a protected area in response to receiving a threat alarm notification from a peer security system that is related to an area monitored by the peer security system, wherein the protected area is different from and geographically separate from the area monitored by the peer security system. The system devise determines that a security threat is indicated for the protected area by assessing the retrieved selection of historic first sensor data as a function of a relation of the threat alarm notification from the peer security system to the protected area, wherein assessing the historic first sensor data without the function of the relation of the threat alarm notification from the peer security system to the protected area results in determining that the security threat is not indicated for the protected area.

  • Patent number: 10605615
Abstract: Data indicating current driving characteristics of a driver driving a vehicle can be received. A driving profile for the driver can be determined and categorized into a driving pattern category. A plurality of candidate travel routes for the driver to reach an intended destination can be identified. For each of the candidate travel routes a plurality of route segments can be identified. Based on the driving pattern category, a probability that the current driving characteristics of the driver will cause a traffic accident can be determined for each of the route segments. A route segment for which the probability that the current driving characteristics of the driver will cause the traffic accident is lowest can be determined and a notification can be communicated to the driver or vehicle indicating that route segment.

  • Patent number: 10573187
Abstract: A method and system for automatically controlling a vehicle is provided. The method includes generating an original route of travel for a first vehicle for travel from an original location to a destination location. The vehicle is directed from the original location to the destination location such that the vehicle initiates motion and navigates the original route of travel towards the destination location in accordance with the original route of travel. Monitored vehicular attributes of the first vehicle are received and environmental attributes associated with the original route of travel are monitored with respect the first vehicle. Navigational issues associated with the vehicle traveling along the original route of travel are determined based on the monitored vehicular attributes and results of monitoring the environmental attributes. The navigational issues are used to determine if the vehicle should continue to travel along the original route of travel.

  • Publication number: 20200036665
Abstract: Posts to a social media platform are analyzed to determine if the posts are from the account owner or authorized user. The analysis is carried out based on previously learned patterns identified via the account owner's previous posts and their profile. The learned patterns of the user may be based on topics, sentiment, mood, context, content and other information. The learned patterns of a user are used to identify variation in the user intent relative to the topic of the post. The user profile can be used to determine if the variations are within a threshold range of variations based on user characteristics. Based on the analysis, malicious posts by unauthorized users can be prevented.
