Abstract: The present invention is directed to a system, a method and a catheter that provide improved ablation capabilities and improved energy efficiency by selectively energizing catheter electrodes on the basis of impedance measurements. In particular, the invention is directed to the selective energization of catheter radial electrodes that together with a tip electrode form a generally continuous tissue contact surface, wherein the selection is made on the basis of impedance measurement as an indication of the amount of tissue contact of each radial electrode.

Abstract: An oral care implement that includes a handle and an oral care refill head. The oral care refill head is alterable between a first state in which it is separated from the handle and a second state in which it is coupled to the handle. The oral care refill head has a proximal edge surface that defines an opening into a sleeve cavity. The proximal edge surface is inclined with radial distance from a cavity axis of the sleeve cavity. Similarly, the handle has a gripping portion that terminates at a distal end and a stem that protrudes from the distal end. The annular shoulder that is inclined downwardly and away from a stem to facilitate mating of the oral care refill head to the handle. The oral care refill head may have features for securing the oral care refill head to the stem of the handle.

Abstract: An oral care implement having an arrangement of tooth cleaning elements thereon. The oral care implement may include a head extending along a longitudinal axis from a proximal end to a distal end. A plurality of tooth cleaning elements extend from the head and are arranged in groups including a first group of tooth cleaning elements that terminate in distal ends that form a concave cleaning surface and a second group of tooth cleaning elements that terminate in distal ends that form a convex cleaning surface. Furthermore, there may also be a third group of tooth cleaning elements extending transversely across the head and dividing the first group of tooth cleaning elements into first and second subgroups of tooth cleaning elements. The third group of tooth cleaning elements may be inclined relative to a surface of the head from which they extend.

Abstract: An oral care implement that delivers a fluid from a reservoir to an applicator by capillary action. The oral care implement may include a head and a handle, the head having tooth cleaning elements extending therefrom. There may also be a reservoir storing a fluid and an applicator on the head. Finally, a delivery member may extend from the reservoir to the applicator. The delivery member may include a capillary tube that draws the fluid from the reservoir to the applicator by capillary action.

Abstract: An oral care implement and a method of forming the same. In one aspect, the invention can be an oral care implement having a handle and a head. The head has a basin cavity formed therein which has an open top end. An aperture is formed into the basin cavity that forms a passageway to an outer surface of the head. An applicator is positioned within the basin cavity so that a portion of the applicator protrudes through the aperture. The oral care implement also includes a head plate with a plurality of tooth cleaning elements mounted thereon. The head plate is coupled to the head and encloses the open top end of the basin cavity.

The oral care implement includes a handle portion that may be coupled to the head portion. The handle portion includes a central body having a proximal portion. The proximal portion may be opposite the head portion. The handle portion may include a first appendage extending laterally outwards from a first side of the central body in a first direction and a second appendage extending laterally outwards from a second side of the central body in a second direction opposite to the first direction. The first and second appendages may be angled towards each other to form an obtuse angle therebetween (e.g., when in an unstressed state). The proximal portion of the central body may protrude from a bottom end of the first and second appendages.

Abstract: An oral care implement and/or a cleaning element for an oral care implement. The cleaning element may include an annular cleaning component having an inner surface defining a cavity. The annular cleaning component may be formed from a plurality of arcuate portions with each of the arcuate portions extending from a first end to a second end and terminating in a distal end. A height of each of the arcuate portions may be greater at the second end than at the first end. The plurality of arcuate portions may be arranged in a ring so that the first end of each of the arcuate portions is adjacent to the second end of another one of the arcuate portions.

The annular cleaning component may be formed from a plurality of arcuate portions with each of the arcuate portions extending from a first end to a second end and terminating in a distal end. Abstract: A console for performing a medical procedure has connection ports for electrically coupling equipment. Each connection port may have an associated indicator that signals whether a piece of equipment should be connected to the respective connection port. The indicators may be selectively activated depending on the procedure being performed with the console.

Abstract: A packaged set of articles that are easily mounted to a pegboard hook. The packaged set of articles includes a container defining an internal cavity. A plurality of packages may be located in the internal cavity’ of the container in a single file arrangement. Each of the packages may comprise a receiving cavity within which an article, such as a toothbrush, is disposed. The packages may also have an aperture that permits the package to be hung from a pegboard hook in a retail environment. Furthermore, an elongated rod may be located within the internal cavity of the container so as to extend through the apertures of each of the packages. This enables the elongated rod and packages to be removed from the container simultaneously so that the elongated rod can be used to facilitate loading of the packages onto a pegboard hook.

Abstract: A packaged set of articles that are easily mounted to a pegboard hook. The packaged set of articles includes a container having a base portion and a top portion that are separable from one another along a pre-weakened line. The top portion includes a portion of a front wall of the container and a portion of a rear wall of the container. The top portion may include at least 50%, or at least 75%, or the entirety of the rear wall of the container. A plurality of packages, each of which contains an article, is arranged in an internal cavity of the container in single file. The packages may include an aperture so that the packages can be hung from a pegboard hook in a retail display. The hanging apertures may be aligned so that an employee can use the container to slide the packages onto the pegboard hook.

A capillary channel extends from the reservoir to deliver the fluids stored in the reservoir through one or more fluid outlets via capillary action. In one embodiment, an applicator formed of a capillary material is located within the outlet. A variety of fluids can be administered for therapeutic, hygienic, and/or other benefits. In one aspect, the apparatus includes a housing defining a reservoir; at least one fluid stored in the reservoir; and a capillary channel in fluid coupling with the at least one fluid, the capillary channel including a first capillary member and a second capillary member that circumferentially surrounds the first capillary member such that the first and second capillary members are concentric.

Finally, a grip cover may be formed out of a resilient material and positioned over at least a portion of the elongated handle body. The oral care implement handle formed by the method may include a handle having an elongated handle body and a core structure. The elongated handle body may have openings in opposing surfaces. The core structure may be partially surrounded by the elongated handle body while protruding from the openings.

Abstract: An oral care implement that includes a handle and a head with a front surface. A plurality of tooth cleaning elements extend from the front surface. The plurality of tooth cleaning elements may include first and/or second sets of peripheral tooth cleaning elements located adjacent to opposing lateral edges of the head. The peripheral tooth cleaning elements may include elastomeric sleeve portions and bristle tuft portions. The elastomeric sleeve portions may be formed as a part of an integrally formed elastomeric component.
