  • Publication number: 20200380033
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure present devices, methods, and computer readable medium for techniques for measuring operational performance metrics, and presenting these metrics through an application programming interface (API) for developers to access for optimizing their applications. Exemplary metrics can include central processing unit or graphics processing unit time, foreground/background time, networking bytes (per application), location activity, display average picture luminance, cellular networking condition, peak memory, number of logical writes, launch and resume time, frame rates, and hang time. Regional markers can also be used to measure specific metrics for in application tasks. The techniques provide multiple user interfaces to help developers recognize the important metrics to optimize the performance of their applications. The data can be normalized over various different devices having different battery size, screen size, and processing requirements.

  • Publication number: 20190295727
Abstract: A method and system for assessing a patient's heart health and communication that assessment to the patient in an understandable format. Various personal data and information regarding personal risk factors are used to calculate a CVH score. The CVH score, patient's actual age, and various predetermined functional parameters specific to the patient's race and sex are used to calculate a vascular age of the patient. The vascular age is this provided to the patient and may be older than the patient's actual age (indicating poor cardiovascular health), the same as the patient's actual age (indicating average cardiovascular health), or younger than the patient's actual age (indicating ideal cardiovascular health). Optionally health information may also be provided based on the personal risk factors, CVH score, vascular age, or comparisons to previous values or predetermined thresholds.

  • Patent number: 10188400
Abstract: An intraluminal occluding catheter and method for preventing the loss of gas insufflation from a physiological lumen during a medical procedure is presented. The intraluminal occluding catheter is generally comprised of a catheter shaft having a flexible balloon affixed on a distal intraluminal end and a plurality of independent channels extending through the catheter shaft from the external proximal end to the distal intraluminal end. Once inserted into a physiological lumen such as the bowel, the intraluminal occluding catheter controls the loss of insufflation proximally thereby improving the safety and efficiency of TAMIS as well as allowing for more controlled gas exchange to clear smoke or vapor.

  • Patent number: 9539801
Abstract: A first surface of a debonder defines a recess that holds an assembly that includes a wafer bonded to a carrier plate having a first diameter that is larger than a second diameter of the wafer. The plate includes a peripheral area not covered by the wafer, and when the wafer of the assembly is placed within the recess, a portion of the peripheral area of the plate engages a portion of the first surface. A second surface of the debonder is disposed in the recess and is separated from the first surface. The second surface includes suction openings that deliver suction to the recess. A third surface of the debonder substantially connects the first and the second surfaces and includes an opening dimensioned to limit a pressure differential between the recess and outside the recess during application of the suction.

  • Patent number: 9296194
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, devices and methodologies for debonding wafers from carrier plates. In certain wafer processing operations, it is desirable to temporarily mount a wafer on a carrier plate for support and ease of handling. Such a mounting can be achieved by bonding the wafer and the carrier plate with an adhesive. Once such operations are completed, the wafer needs to be debonded from the carrier plate. Such a debonding process can be achieved by applying a suction force to the wafer-carrier plate assembly. Various debonding systems, devices and methodologies, and related features, are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7021891
Abstract: A back-to-back double-flow bi-directional thrust-balanced micro-impeller for use in optimized compression cycles of small volumetric flow rates is provided. The back-to-back micro-impeller is a component of a compressor capable of generating a pressure head suitable for maintaining the flow rate needed for dissipating heat, such as produced by an electronic component. The back-to-back micro-impeller provides a fluid path on both sides of the micro-impeller, imparting an equal momentum (or velocity) to the fluid. The left and right compressor sections provide a balancing of forces generated by high-pressure fluid against the two sides of the micro-impeller. This reduces vibrational forces and provides a balancing force on the shaft which reduces the thrust on the shaft in a direction away from the gas flow path. Also, the approximately equally distributed mass about the rotation axis X, provides for a balanced impeller which is desirable when operated at high rotation speeds.

  • Patent number: 6978092
Abstract: An optical transceiver includes an opaque element having a concave reflective surface arranged in a path of each of an outgoing and an incoming light signal, the reflective surface configured to redirect the paths of the respective light signals. An optical detector is arranged facing the reflective surface. The optical detector is configured to detect a redirected incoming light signal from the reflective surface and to generate therefrom a receive signal proportional to the incoming light signal. An emitter is arranged facing the reflective surface. The emitter is configured to generate the outgoing light signal proportional to a transmit signal. A lens assembly is arranged between the reflective surface of the opaque element and both the optical detector and the emitter. The lens assembly is configured to couple the redirected incoming light signal to the optical detector and to couple the outgoing light signal to the reflective surface.
