  • Publication number: 20200406113
Abstract: A flexible tubular implement grip with a first section formed of elastomeric material having a first set of properties and a second section having a second different set of properties. An annular interface member is disposed between and abutted and bonded to the first and second section on opposite sides of the interface member. The interface member is fitted on a core bar and inserted therewith in a mold. The materials of different properties are then disposed concurrently in the mold, either for compression molding or by injection and cured in a single molding operation. The interface member may have grooves on the inner or outer periphery to provide positive interlocking engagement of the elastomeric material with the interface member.
    Type: Application

    Publication date: December 31, 2020
    Applicant: Eaton Intelligent Power Limited
Inventors: Stephen James Davis, Edward Wang
  • Publication number: 20200360775
Abstract: A lightweight compression molded multicolor golf grip having at least a first section and a second section of differing colors and composed of elastomer compounds joined by cross-linking across a sharply defined cross-color interface having an interface transition zone beyond which there is no mixing of the colors. The grip has a soft feel and unique compression characteristics achieved in some embodiments through the controlled use of an expanding blowing agent in a rubber compound. Achieving the sharply defined cross-color interface is due in part to the use of complementary geometries at opposing interface edges to increase the stability of the interface and reduce the flow during molding associated with the increased viscosity of low density rubber compounds, promote cross-linking of the sections, and better distribute and control the consolidation pressure.

  • Patent number: 10729953
Abstract: A lightweight compression molded multicolor golf grip having at least a first section and a second section of differing colors and composed of elastomer compounds having a density of less than 0.90 g/cc, and joined by cross-linking across a sharply defined cross-color interface having an interface transition zone beyond which there is no mixing of the colors. The grip has a soft feel and unique compression characteristics achieved in some embodiments through the controlled use of an expanding blowing agent in a rubber compound. • Patent number: 10673959
Abstract: Methods, systems, and storage media for accessing one or more services provided by one or more detected Internet of Things (“IoT”) devices are described. In embodiments, a mobile device may detect a plurality of IoT devices, obtain an identifier for each of the plurality of IoT devices based on the detection, and obtain an indicator for each of the plurality of IoT devices based at least in part on a corresponding one of the obtained identifiers, wherein each indicator may indicate a service type of a corresponding one of the plurality of IoT devices. The mobile device may generate a notification that indicates a plurality of services available to the mobile device based on each of the obtained indicators. The mobile device may access a service of the plurality of services, wherein the access may include utilization of a set of the plurality of IoT devices required to provide the service. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

  • Patent number: 10537775
Abstract: The present disclosure thus provides a unique flexible elastomeric grip for an implement handle such as a shaft of a golf club and has a pattern of voids/recesses in the form of grooves and/or dimples on the inner periphery thereof which may be spaced to provide different cushioning in longitudinally spaced regions of the grip. Where texture grooves are employed on the outer periphery of the grip of the present disclosure, the thickness of the material between the grooves and/or dimples on the inner periphery and the texture on the outer periphery is maintained at not less than one millimeter (1 mm).

  • Patent number: 10402579
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus to provide private information retrieval are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a protected data enclave to store a first portion of data such that entities other than the first trusted hardware processing unit are unable to access the first portion of the data. The example apparatus includes a request processor to determine that a data element specified in a first request from an entity is stored in a second trusted hardware processing unit. The request processor is to send an encrypted request for the data element to the second trusted hardware processing unit, and send an encrypted dummy request to a third trusted hardware processing unit. The request processor is to determine whether an encrypted dummy response has been received from the third trusted hardware processing unit, and whether an encrypted response including the data element has been received from the second trusted hardware processing unit.
