Generally, a primary user may specify other users to be avoided in a blacklist. The blacklisted users may be specified to be avoided at all times, or may be specified to be avoided in certain situations. In one embodiment, a user may be added to the blacklist during a specific situation, resulting in the characteristics of the situation being automatically stored in the blacklist. Subsequently, the blacklist may be used to determine the locations of the blacklisted users matching the current situation. The primary user may then avoid the locations having the greatest probability of encountering blacklisted users.

A chargeback response tool receives chargeback data from a financial vendor and automatically retrieves chargeback dispute evidence relating to the parties involved in the chargeback and about the original transaction from a transaction system that facilitated the original transaction. The chargeback response tool may also analyze the performance and effectiveness of agents using the tool and of various approaches of disputing chargebacks.

Abstract: A diverter valve for bulk solids is disclosed. The valve has a single inlet and two or more outlets, preferable three. Two pivotal gate valves are used for three outlets so that one is open and two are closed. The valve includes a novel pivotal gate structure which includes a resilient planar component sandwiched between two rigid planar components. The resilient component engages the valve housing so as to avoid metal to metal contact. The invention also includes a seal bar on each side of the housing which presents a linear surface that is perpendicular to the plane of the gate structure so as to present a firm surface against which the gate structure seals. The seal bars for each gate structure are discontinuous so as to accommodate positioning of the other gate structure in a smooth non-deformed sealing relationship to the housing. Additional seal bars engage the top and sides of each gate structure when moved to a “closed” position.

The porous material injection system may include an injection hood formed from a hood structure having a top plate, first and second cavities. During use, a vacuum may be formed in the first cavity to attach the injection hood to the porous material, and a protective material may be injected through a plurality of orifices in the second cavity and into the porous material. In another embodiment, the injection hood may be attached to a porous material with a mechanical connector and the protective material may be injected through a plurality of orifices into the porous material.

Abstract: A wireless telephone which includes the functionality to operate in a plurality of dialing modes. When a wireless telephone is powered up and in an idle mode, a telephone user has the option of operating the phone in a first dialing mode which simulates the operation of a land line phone and a second dialing mode which is a wireless mode of operation. Either mode may be initiated without requiring any additional steps to be performed by the telephone user. In the first mode, the telephone user may depress a “Talk” button on the keypad of the wireless phone. A dial tone is transmitted through the speaker and at this point a telephone number may be entered through the keypad. After entry of the number and the passing of a timeout period, the telephone number is automatically transmitted to the telephone network in order to establish a telephonic connection. In the second mode, a telephone user begins by entering the telephone number into the memory.
