  • Patent number: 12461511
Abstract: A method of developing a product is provided that includes generating a digital system model (DSM) that describes the product and a manufacturing process for the product, and generating a digital twin (DTw) of an instance of a component of the manufacturing process, the DTw including a digital replica of the instance. The method includes receiving attribute data for attributes of process/process characteristics subject to sources of variation that affect product quality. The digital replica is executed with input of the attribute data, and thereby updating the DTw to replicate the instance of the component of the manufacturing process as performed. A data analysis of the manufacturing process is performed based on the DTw as updated, and the manufacturing process is modified based on the data analysis to reduce variability in one or more product characteristics. The DTws of multiple instances may be used to generate further improvement.

  • Publication number: 20250259177
Abstract: In various embodiments of the present invention, identity components such as name, date of birth, address, social security number, driver's license number etc. are transformed into vector representations which are then stored in a vector search database. In preferred embodiments, each vectorized identity component represents a column in a table which is implemented as a database and which is incorporated into a trained model. This trained model is then used on a real time or near real time basis to make identity verification and fraud detection decisions in connection with proposed “transactions”. These “transactions” can take various forms such as purchasing a good or service, opening an account, performing a background check and/or any other action wherein it is necessary or desirable to confirm that the person seeking to perform the transaction is who they say they are.

  • Publication number: 20250182513
Abstract: A single stage, end to end system and methodology is employed to obtain key-value pairs from original documents and images without the requirement for intermediate results or data as would typically be required in OCR based data capture solutions. The system and methodology of the present invention requires only a single model to generate key-value pairs from original documents and images as opposed to the use of at least two models which are required when traditional OCR data capture solutions are implemented.

  • Patent number: 11875259
Abstract: Provided is a system and methodology which enhances the readability of barcodes using machine learning techniques wherein a model is trained using exemplary data and the resulting model is used in production to increase the chances of successfully capturing the data in a barcode notwithstanding that the barcode may be of low quality. According to the teachings of the present invention, the system is trained using large quantities of synthetic personal information associated with barcodes. Once the system is placed into production, the trained model is applied as against newly identified barcodes to enhance the readability of the original barcode based on features associated with the trained model.

  • Patent number: 11020055
Abstract: A system for monitoring the health and safety of recumbent individuals. In some embodiments, the bed monitor system comprises a wired or wireless sensor mat which may be positioned upon a bed mattress and underneath a bedsheet. Multiple RFID tag sensors embedded within the sensor mat can detect physical, bodily, and environmental attributes and transmit this information to a controller box for further processing. Turn regiment, prohibited body positions, imminent fall danger, and bed occupancy may therefore be tracked and updated accordingly. In some embodiments, the system can dynamically generate positional images of a body proximate to the sensor mat in order to identify adverse conditions requiring attention. Incontinence discharges can also be detected by sensors and algorithms which can differentiate urinary from fecal incontinence events. Various embodiments of the system are portable, allowing for a rapid set-up within hospital venues and within other care facilities.

  • Patent number: 10251793
Abstract: A system comprises a series of passive RFID tag sensors each embedded on top of its own matching antenna inside a flexible substrate. The sensors are driven by a controller-transceiver. The controller-transceiver sends RF signals through an antenna to each RFID tag sensor and receives data transmitted back from the same sensors. Sensors are embedded in a flexible substrate positioned under an unaltered incontinence absorbent pad and juxtaposed to derive further information. Multiple sensors provide sensing of physical-environmental data in addition to moisture. The controller makes intelligent and positive incontinence determinations by relating data to profiles indicative of correlation to incontinence conditions.

  • Patent number: 9649230
Abstract: A system for monitoring patient incontinence. A sensor module is positioned next to an impermeable layer of absorbent pad used for urinary or other incontinence. A wired embodiment has the sensor module wired to an external controller. In the wireless embodiment, a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag includes an antenna, moisture sensor, and radio frequency integrated circuit (RFIC). A rewritable memory is included in the RFIC to record identifying information associated with the patient. The identifying information is programmed in the RFID tag when it is in the range of an RFID writer. A controller-transceiver in this intelligent underpad monitor system provides excitation energy to operate the RFID tag. The controller-transceiver constantly interrogates the RFID tag to detect any incontinence alarm signal. When incontinence happens, the alarm signal is sent to the controller-transceiver along with user information in the RFID tag memory.

  • Patent number: 8030876
Abstract: A stepper motor device uses compensating non-sinusoidal driving values to compensate for operational non-sinusoidal drive characteristics of a motor of the device due to at least design and manufacturing imperfections in the motor. The compensating non-sinusoidal driving values may be derived using back electromagnetic force produced from the motor or using measured rotational positions of the motor when the motor is driven using known driving values.

  • Publication number: 20100223100
Abstract: Methods and systems for sales networking are provided. A user of a database system can be helped to identify relevant business opportunities from those similar to a selected opportunity. For example, a salesperson can search for similar deals to the one the person is working, contact people who have worked similar deals and ask for their advice, and bookmark those deals to refer back to them as they work the deal. The similar opportunities can be found by matching properties (such as field and related records) of an opportunity record that corresponds to the opportunity of interest.

  • Patent number: 7639021
Abstract: An improved circuit and method for detecting dielectric breakdown and ground fault conditions is provided. The circuitry and method of the present invention include taking a continuous voltage reading of the high voltage battery and sampling the continuous voltage reading of the high voltage battery at a fixed time interval. The circuitry and method calculate a change in the continuous voltage reading of the high voltage battery over the change in time and repeatedly calculate an optimum fixed time interval and an optimum change in voltage over time. Storage of the optimum fixed time interval and optimum change in voltage over time provides for repeatedly comparing the optimum change in voltage over the fixed time interval to the constant voltage of the high voltage battery to calculate the resistance of the dielectric breakdown fault. The calculation of the resistance of the dielectric breakdown fault is carried out independently of the capacitance of the electric circuit.
