  • Publication number: 20160374492
Abstract: A chair mat especially designed for use in both a sitting and standing position can have a substantially rigid base including a fold line separating a first portion of the base from a second portion. A resilient cushion can positioned on only the second portion lower surface of the base. The second portion can be movable about the fold line relative to the first portion between a first position where the cushion is downwardly facing and a second position where the cushion is upwardly facing. When the second portion is in the first position, the substantially rigid base can present a substantially continuously smooth upper surface providing for easy movement of any casters or rollers supporting a desk chair spider. When the second portion is in the second position, the cushion can provide a compressible yet resilient portion that facilitates a comfortable standing working position for prolonged periods of time.

  • Publication number: 20160366850
Abstract: An animal occupancy structure can include a vent, a cover and a base. The cover can include a planar surface and a cylindrical collar formed to extend perpendicularly from the planar surface and define an orifice therein. The vent can be coupled with the collar and is rotatable between a closed position in which the vent fully surrounds the collar and is nearest the planar surface, and an open position in which the vent only partially surrounds the collar and is spaced away from the planar surface. The base can be detachably coupled with the cover at a peripheral edge of the base and the cover. The base can include a uniformly concaved inner surface extending radially to the peripheral edge of the base to form an interior chamber between the base and the cover.

  • Patent number: 9284746
Abstract: An insulated fence tensioner for use with a flexible polymer fence rail having at least one electrically conductive member has a metal barrel including a slot for receiving an end of the fence rail. An electrically non-conductive tubular liner is situated within the metal barrel, the liner including two edges defining a slot aligned with the metal barrel slot. An electrically non-conductive sleeve surrounds the metal barrel, the sleeve including two edges defining a slot aligned with the metal barrel slot. One set of the liner and sleeve edges are formed as a pair of folded edges positioned to penetrate the metal barrel slot and overlap the other set of the edges. An electrically non-conductive flange is positioned between the electrically conductive member of the flexible polymer fence rail and the metal mounting bracket of the fence tensioner.

  • Patent number: 9211975
Abstract: A jug has an essentially square base, four sidewall portions rising from the base formed together with corner portions, and a shoulder portion extending upward to a finish portion defining an opening into the jug interior. Creases intersect a midline crease on two opposite sidewalls of the jug. A base crease line folds upward and the two opposite creased sidewall portions folds inward along vertical midline creases above diagonal crease lines from lower corners of the jug as the jug is moved from a full-sized use conformation toward a compact conformation. A sidewall, other than the two opposite creased sidewalls, can include an integrally formed handle, or can include a horizontal groove adapted to engage a lower end of a separately molded handle engaging the neck of the jug. A cap including a movable ring can engage a tab protruding from a groove in the sidewall to ensure a rolled compact arrangement of the empty jug.

  • Patent number: 9119491
Abstract: A cup holder sidewall includes a recess adapted to receive at least part of a handle having upper and lower socket engaging portions received in sockets in upper and lower flanges defining the recesses. The socket engaging portions permit the handle to be displaced from the sidewall recesses to a position projecting outward from the sidewall to permit the handle to be grasped in one hand. The sidewall includes at least one flexible segment extending through the sidewall from the inner surface to the outer surface, which may also extend from the upper margin to the lower margin. Each flexible segment renders the sidewall sufficiently flexible to allow the sidewall to adjust to receive cups of varying sizes and shapes.

  • Publication number: 20150093548
Abstract: A mat is provided for use on a carpeted floor surface, a hard floor surface, or both, and can have a substantially planar upper body surface suitable for interaction with a chair or other support structure. A slip-resistant layer can be bonded to a substantially planar lower body surface of the mat. The slip-resistant layer can be in the form of strips or coextensive with the entire lower body surface. The slip-resistant layer can allow placement in applications requiring simultaneous placement on both carpeted and hard floor surfaces, yet facilitating stable placement on both surfaces.

  • Publication number: 20140154474
Abstract: A one-piece, unitary floor mat may include a continuous plastic sheet including upper and lower surfaces, and an outer perimeter that joins the upper and lower surfaces. A plurality of grooves may be disposed along the upper surface. Each groove may include two sloped surfaces joined to one another at a trough in a substantially V-shaped configuration. A plurality of channels may be disposed along the lower surface. Each channel may be substantially aligned with a single corresponding groove, and each groove may be substantially aligned with a single corresponding channel. A plurality of substantially planar elongate panels may be defined by the grooves and the channels. An upper surface of each panel may be defined by two adjacent grooves. A lower surface of each panel may be defined by two adjacent channels. Successive panels may be movable relative one another to roll the floor mat into a rolled configuration.

  • Patent number: 8720706
Abstract: A display stand has a base, a vertical pole having a lower end fixed to the base. The pole includes two sections having a stem projecting upward from each section. A bearing is coupled each stem of the pole. A pair of racks, each having a central tube with a bearing race fixed within a lower end contacts an outer surface of the bearings for rotation around the tube. Each rack has a generally square perimeter with rounded corners formed of wire, with a plurality of radial support members coupled between the central tube and the rounded corners. Each side of the square perimeter portion includes a pair of hooks adjacent the rounded corners to engage products to be displayed on the stand, the hooks projecting a limited distance outward below the plane of the rack square perimeter.
