  • Publication number: 20230380635
Abstract: A cooking article includes a cooking utensil and a handle. The handle includes several hollow seasoning compartment sections. The handle also includes a rotatable handle cap, a seasoning compartment section selector, and first and second release shafts that rotate together. The first and second release shafts and a release button move together along the axis of the handle. Rotating the handle without depressing the release button, selects one of the seasoning compartment sections such that an opening of the second release shaft is positioned above an opening the selected seasoning compartment section. Pressing the release button moves the release button and the first and second release shafts such that the opening of the second release shaft is aligned with the opening of the selected seasoning compartment section, releasing seasonings from the selected seasoning compartment, through the opening of the second release shaft, into a cavity of the second release shaft.

  • Publication number: 20230349262
Abstract: A linear electromechanical actuator with a failsafe design may be used with a downhole flow control system. In one example, a subsurface safety valve for controlling flow of production fluids includes a valve closure element moveable between an open position and a closed position in response to a linear movement of an actuating member. A biasing member biases the valve closure element to the closed position. A power section with an electrically-powered motor drives a rotation. A drive section coupled to the power section converts the rotation of the motor to the linear movement of the actuating member to at least open the subsurface safety valve. A clutch selectively decouples the power section from the drive section in response to a power loss.

  • Patent number: 11737444
Abstract: An apparatus for solarization of a volume of soil includes a support structure in the form of a frame having a first opening extending therethrough. The apparatus comprises a lid positionable over the frame, a plurality of walls extending under and away from the frame, and an assembly that redirects solar energy attached over the support structure. The lid and walls form a second opening. During operation the support structure is placed on a section of ground and adjusted for solar energy to be directed toward and through the lid. When placed on the ground, the frame, the lid, the walls and the adjoining ground form an enclosed volume that prevents thermal energy from escaping the enclosed volume while directing the solar energy into the volume via the second opening to heat underlying soil.

  • Publication number: 20230208908
Abstract: A system can include a gateway, a plurality of network function nodes, and a distributed load balancer including load balancer nodes each having a flow table portion stored thereon. The load balancer nodes can form a node chain having a tail and head nodes. A load balancer node can receive a packet from the gateway. In response, the load balancer node can generate a query, directed to the tail node, that identifies the packet and a network function identifier associated with a network function node that is proposed to handle a connection. The tail node can determine whether an entry for the connection exists in a flow table portion associated with the tail node. If not, the tail node can initiate an insert request for writing the entry for the connection via the head node. The entry can then be written to all load balancer nodes in the node chain.

  • Publication number: 20230185948
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer program products for controlling access to an organization's data in a multitenant environment are provided. An organization hierarchy is defined at a multitenant platform, the organization hierarchy comprising an organization and a plurality of sites owned by the organization, each of the plurality of sites representing a data isolation boundary for the organization's data. The sites are associated with subscriptions to applications of the multitenant platform. The organization can designate user partitions within the sites, each user partition designating a corresponding set of site users and a corresponding authentication service. The multitenant platform enables access to each subscription of a site only if a site user is authenticated by the authentication service designated in the user partition corresponding to the site user.

  • Patent number: 11668160
Abstract: A safety valve for a wellbore can include a piston, a flapper valve, a flow tube, a series of outer magnets, and a series of inner magnets. The piston can displace the flow tube, which can operate the flapper valve. The series outer magnets can be attached to an outer wall of the piston. The series of inner magnets can be attached to a flow tube of the safety valve. The series of outer magnets and the series of inner magnets can be arranged in a non-alternating polarity pattern. The non-alternating polarity pattern can be ordered in such a way that a first force to decouple the series of inner magnets from the series of outer magnets is larger than a second force to recouple the series of inner magnets to the series of outer magnets.
