Abstract: A beam profile member intended for being secured to a wall and arranged to allow the fastening of a tensioned fabric in order to produce a false wall, the beam profile member including a flange for securing to the wall having an inside face and an outside face, characterised in that the outside face of the securing flange is provided with at least one resiliently deformable zone arranged to absorb the deformation of the securing flange generated by the pushing force applied to the inside face of the securing flange during the operation to secure the beam profile member to the wall.

Abstract: A false ceiling comprising a bearing structure comprising at least two coplanar and mutually parallel opposite profile members fixed to a ceiling, the profile members between them defining an access opening providing access to the ceiling, each profile member comprising a shoulder defining a horizontal bearing surface facing towards the ceiling, at least one panel positioned between the profile members, the panel being dimensioned to rest on the bearing surface of the profile members, the false ceiling further comprising removable and attached wedging means for transversely wedging the panel between two opposite profile members, the wedging means being arranged on either side of the panel.
