  • Publication number: 20100093569
Abstract: The present invention provides a sliding material composition that is capable of continuously supplying a lubricant to the surface of a sliding portion and has a low frictionality and a low wearability. A sliding material composition of the present invention includes a resin material with which at least porous silica and a lubricant are mixed. The ratio of the sum of the mixing amount of the porous silica and that of the lubricant to the whole amount of the sliding material composition is 30 to 60 vol %. The interconnected cell ratio of the oil-containing porous silica in which the lubricant is held by the porous silica is not less than 20% when the interconnected cell ratio is found by a predetermined computing method to be carried out by utilizing the principle of a Monte Carlo method.

  • Publication number: 20090243224
Abstract: The present invention provides a seal ring which can be prevented from being broken by an expansion and a shock applied thereto when the seal ring is fitted on a rotary shaft and does not have a configurative disadvantage such as a burr. Therefore no post-processing is required. The present invention also provides materials of the seal ring and a method of manufacturing the seal ring. The seal ring is made of resin and having two abutments confronting each other and a gate mark formed in an injection molding operation.

  • Publication number: 20050116376
Abstract: A conductive resin molding for use in the separator of a fuel cell and its producing method in which lowering of production yield and increase of machining cost, which are the most important problems with the spread of fuel cell, can be suppressed. The conductive resin molding is characterized by containing 1-9 vol % of high boiling point oil against the entire resin composition. Alternatively, high density expanded graphite prepared to have a specific gravity of 1.8 or above is employed as a conductive compounding agent. Alternatively, the conductive resin molding can be molded by flash flow compression molding.

  • Patent number: 6569816
Abstract: A composition having lubricity such as a low degree of friction and wear and capable of supplying a lubricant continuously to a surface of a slide surface is disclosed. Also, a slide bearing, a retainer for a rolling bearing, and a seismically isolated apparatus formed by molding the composition are disclosed. The composition is composed by adding a porous silica and a lubricant to a base material; adding the lubricant-impregnated porous silica to the base material; or adding the lubricant-impregnated porous silica and the lubricant to the base material.
