  • Publication number: 20010004903
Abstract: A fluid supply apparatus with a plurality of flow lines branching out from one regulator for adjustment of pressure, the flow lines being arranged in parallel, wherein a measure is taken that the operation, that is, opening or closing of one flow passage will have no transient effect on the steady flow of the other flow passages. For this purpose, each flow passage is provided with a time delay-type mass flow controller MFC so that when one closed fluid passage is opened, the mass flow controller on that flow passage reaches a set flow rate Qs in a specific delay time &Dgr;t from the starting point.

  • Patent number: 6105475
Abstract: A device for tightening a plurality of threaded members at the same time with proper torque without necessitating a cumbersome procedure of rotating the members one by one through a specified small angle at a time and without unequivalent tightening of the members, the tightening device (1) comprises two rotary shafts (6) each provided at a forward end thereof with a wrench portion (8) fittable to the threaded member (44), motors (3) for individually driving the rotary shafts (6) and a control unit (9) for detecting the tightening torque of each threaded member (44) and controlling the motor (3) based on the detected value to ensure proper tightening, the control unit (9) checking the tightening torque of each threaded member (44) as to whether the torque is within a predetermined range and whether the difference in tightening torque between the threaded members (44) is within a predetermined range.

  • Patent number: 5837907
Abstract: A method is provided for tightening up threaded members with proper tightening torque free of unequivalent tightening. In tightening a plurality of threaded members by drive means, the amount of tightening and tightening torque of each threaded member are detected as the members are progressively tightened, and when the tightening amount of each member has reached a value within a specified range, the difference in tightening torque between the threaded members is checked as to whether it is within a predetermined range.

  • Patent number: 5711197
Abstract: A cutter for facing ends of tubes has a cutting edge perpendicular to the axis of a drive shaft and extending obliquely from a plane containing a reference side face of the cutter. The cutter has a base end portion fitted in a cutter mount groove which is defined by a reference side face a specified distance away from the drive shaft axis. The cutter is positioned as shifted a predetermined distance along the length of the groove, with the cutter reference side face bearing on the groove-defining reference side face, whereby the cutter is adapted to cut the tube end in a direction a predetermined angle outward with respect to a tangential direction of the tube at the cutting position.

  • Patent number: 5609077
Abstract: A tightening device comprises an upper plate, a lower plate disposed below the upper plate in parallel thereto, a nut rotating gear supported by the lower plate so as to be rotatable in a horizontal plane, and a spur gear provided on an underside of the upper plate and meshable with the nut rotating gear for rotating the nut rotating gear. The upper plate has a portion fittable to a flange of an externally threaded member for preventing the rotation of the threaded member, while the nut rotating gear has a portion fittable to a nut. With the nut manually tightened on the threaded member in advance, the flange fitting portion of the upper plate is fitted to the flange, the nut is fitted in the fitting portion of the nut rotating gear, and the spur gear is thereafter rotated, whereby the nut rotating gear is driven to tighten up the nut on the threaded member.

  • Patent number: 5502883
Abstract: A reference range of tightening torques is predetermined relative to the rotation angle of a threaded member as normally tightened. In tightening up a nut on an externally threaded member, the tightening torque is detected by a torque sensor every time the nut is rotated through a specified angle, and whether the tightening torque relative to the rotation angle is within the reference range is judged by a microcomputer. The result of judgment is indicated by a light-emitting diode and a buzzer.

  • Patent number: 4967996
Abstract: The pilot type controlled electromagnetic valve system in accordance with the present invention is opened and closed principally by means of automatic remote control. The controlled valve system comprises a main valve F; a pilot valve G for opening and closing the main valve F by means of the fluid pressure on the primary side; a latching solenoid H for opening and closing the pilot valve G; and a solenoid drive control unit I for driving the solenoid H by supplying a discharge current from a capacitor to the solenoid. A pulse discharge current is supplied to the solenoid H from the capacitor C only when the pilot valve G is opened or closed, and no excitation current is supplied continuously through the coil of the solenoid. As a result, the power source battery can be reduced in size, and therefore virtually no accidents take place in the controlled valve system due to no heat generation in the coil.
