  • Publication number: 20170205144
Abstract: A fired precast block prevents itself from dropping off early due to corrosion and increases service life of a blast furnace runner, etc. when used in a very vulnerable portion of the blast furnace runner, etc., and can be produced at low costs. The fired precast block has an upper surface to contact molten metal or slag, a lower surface opposing the upper surface, and a plurality of side surface. The fired precast block is used by being embedded in a castable in such a manner that the upper surface is exposed from the castable and the lower surface and the plurality of side surfaces contact the castable. Each side surface of at least one opposing pair of side surfaces includes a planar portion and an uneven portion. The uneven portion has at least one groove-shaped concave portion.

  • Publication number: 20160046770
Abstract: A polyolefin-based thermoplastic elastomer and a crosslinked body of the same which can undergo a silane-crosslinking process excellent in productivity and have a rubber property required as a substitute material for EPDM is disclosed herein and can use a silane-crosslinkable ethylene-propylene copolymer characterized in that an organic peroxide (B) and a silane coupling agent (C) are compounded with an ethylene-propylene copolymer resin (A) which comprises 5 to 25% by mass of an ethylene component and 75 to 95% by mass of a propylene component, and whose MFR measured at 230° C. and with a load of 2.16 kg applied is 20.0 g/10 min or less. and further a compounded amount of the organic peroxide is 0.1 to 0.6 pts. mass based on 100 pts. mass of the ethylene-propylene copolymer resin (A) and a one-minute half-life temperature of the organic peroxide is 175.2° C. or less.
