  • Patent number: 8319786
Abstract: To provide an image processing device capable of attaining shade expression on a surface of an object while reducing image processing load, and of reducing a sense of discomfort which the user may feel. A shading process execution unit (62) executes a shading process on the surface of the object, based on a pseudo-normal vector for each pixel of a texture image to be mapped onto the surface of the object. A shading process execution restraining unit (66) restrains execution of the shading process by the shading process execution unit (62), based on the distance from a viewpoint to the object. A pseudo-normal vector obtaining unit (60) stores information correlating the distance from the viewpoint with pseudo-normal vector information for obtaining a pseudo-normal vector of each pixel. Then, the pseudo-normal vector obtaining unit (60) obtains a pseudo-normal vector of each pixel, based on the pseudo-normal vector information correlated to the distance from the viewpoint to the object.

  • Publication number: 20120227769
Abstract: A method for collecting a liquid surface residual film floating on the surface of the liquid after transfer, and a transfer tank that includes a film holding mechanism, provided at inner sides of both right and left side walls, for holding both sides of the transfer film and conveying the transfer film to an immersion area. When a film that is no longer needed after the transfer is collected, dividing means divides the liquid surface residual film so as to split the liquid surface residual film in a longitudinal direction of the transfer tank before the object is removed from the transfer liquid, and the divided films are moved closer to the both side walls of the transfer tank. At the side wall portions, the film holding mechanism is canceled, and from this canceled portion, the divided liquid surface residual films are discharged out of the tank.

  • Patent number: 7993200
Abstract: To provide a game device that allows a user to relatively easily judge a time at which a length of a gauge becomes a length with which desired processing is executed. A first gauge control unit (72) controls the gauge to expand or contract according to continued of pressing of an operation member. A second gauge control unit (74) controls the gauge to expand or contract according to the continued pressing of the operation member, and in particular, switches a change to be given to the gauge between expansion and contraction based on a numerical value output from a controller according to a pressing force with respect to the operation member. A gauge control switching unit (70) causes the second gauge control unit (74) to start gauge control when a length of the gauge is set to a predetermined status by the first gauge control unit (72). A game processing execution unit (80) executes game processing based on the length of the gauge when release of the pressing of the operation member is detected.
