  • Patent number: 7731350
Abstract: A partition is provided at the almost center of a parallel sheet feed tray in a main-scanning direction, and recording paper sheets such as postcards are mounted in two rows in parallel in the main-scanning direction. By bringing upper surfaces of the recording paper sheets into contact with a pick roller, the recording paper sheets are picked one by one per row and fed toward an inside of a housing. While the recording paper sheets are conveyed in a sub-scanning direction with being arranged in parallel in the main-scanning direction, ink drops are discharged to both the recording paper sheets with reciprocation of a carriage with the ink cartridges in the main-scanning direction. Images are formed on the two recording paper sheets simultaneously, thereby shortening time necessary for printing a lot of recording paper sheets.

  • Publication number: 20100055134
Abstract: To provide a method of efficiently separate protective components of Bordetella pertussis. On the basis of differences in adsorbability to calcium phosphate gel formed by adding calcium ions to a Bordetella pertussis culture in the presence of excess phosphate ions, protective components of Bordetella pertussis are separated from the Bordetella pertussis culture. Traditionally, protective components of Bordetella pertussis have been separated using different purification methods for the respective components. According to the present invention, the use of the same means of purification for all subject components makes it possible to purify each component with high efficiency and high recovery rate, an aspect very advantageous for industrial production. It is also possible to efficiently produce an improved purified pertussis component vaccine comprising an effective combination of pertussis filamentous hemagglutinin (FHA), pertactin (PRN, 69K-OMP), pertussis fimbriae (FIM) and pertussis toxin (PT).

  • Patent number: 7526358
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a three-dimensional CAD-system for adding data about a drafting direction of a die to three-dimensional data about the part to be formed by that die, and a cost calculation system for calculating the cost of the part based on that drafting direction data. A three-dimensional model generation unit of a CAD system generates: a three-dimensional shaped model of a given part based on information coming from an input operation unit. A drafting direction data setting unit establishes drafting direction data when the input operation unit is operated to designate the drafting direction of the die for press molding, injection molding or the like of the part in question. A projected area calculation unit calculates a projected area S of the part on a plane perpendicular to the drafting direction of the applicable die on the basis of the three-dimensional model of that part and the drafting direction data involved.
