    Abstract: A surgical method in one method includes making an opening in the skin of a patient having an orthopedic condition involving a nerve pathology producing pain, positioning an instrument in the opening, the instrument having first and second substantially opposed arcuate arms, each arm having a concave inside surface so that the arms substantially define a rounded space, and a third component located substantially at a periphery of the rounded space, retaining an internal target tissue comprising a nerve on the instrument, causing an emitter to apply an emission signal upon the retained tissue, causing a detector to receive an evaluation signal from the internal target tissue, wherein the evaluation signal is a tissue response to the emission signal, causing a processor to receive the evaluation signal from the detector, receiving an indicia about the nerve from the processor, and retracting the third component in response to the indicia.

In response to a triggering event, the gaming system initiates play of a feature game including a plurality of standard symbols and value symbols, the value symbols being associated with one or more values. One or more of the value symbols are held in place in a group on a display device, the standard symbols then replaced with respective replacement symbols randomly selected from the plurality of standard and value symbols. In response to the replacement symbols including another value symbol, the value symbol is added to the group and at least one of the values of the symbols previously in the group is modified. An award based on the current cumulative value of the held value symbols is determined at the conclusion of the feature game.

Crude oil may be heated and then separated into only two liquid products in the crude distillation column. The separation between the light and heavy products may be controlled by the overhead product flow rate. Heat is recovered from an overhead stream and a bottoms stream by pre-heating the incoming crude oil stream by heat exchange with overhead stream and the bottoms stream. In an embodiment, a diesel-range distillate fraction may be condensed from an overhead stream in a first heat exchanger and a naphtha-range fraction may be condensed from the gas stream uncondensed by the first heat exchanger in a second heat exchanger.

    Abstract: A process for adsorbing hydrogen chloride (HCl) from a regeneration vent gas. The regeneration vent gas is cooled from a catalyst regeneration zone. The cooled regeneration vent gas is passed to an adsorption zone that is spaced apart from the catalyst regeneration zone. HCl from the regeneration vent gas is adsorbed onto a sorbent in the adsorption zone to enrich the sorbent with HCl to provide HCl-rich sorbent and deplete HCl from the regeneration vent gas to provide HCl-lean regeneration vent gas. HCl-lean regeneration vent gas is purged as an effluent gas. HCl-rich sorbent is passed from the adsorption zone to a sorbent regeneration zone. HCl from the HCl-rich sorbent in the sorbent regeneration zone is desorbed to provide a regenerated sorbent. The regenerated sorbent is transferred to the adsorption zone.
