    Abstract: Stretch blow molded containers are made from a preform made of a plastic material suitable for stretch blow molding such as, e.g., PET. The preform is heated to a temperature suitable for stretch blow molding and is introduced into a mold. An explosive gas mixture is introduced into the preform with a stretching pressure and the preform is axially stretched with the help of a stretching rod. After stretching, the explosive gas mixture is ignited, the explosion creating a blowing pressure which presses the wall of the preform against the inner wall of the mold so as to impart to the container its definite form. Due to the temperature shock generated by the explosion, the inner surface of the container is simultaneously sterilized.

    Abstract: A mouth forming device for a container includes an opening section, an operating section and a supporting section which are disposed in substantially the same plane. A substantially U-shaped groove is provided between one end portion of the opening section and one end portion of the operating section. The supporting section surrounds a portion of the opening section and the operating section. The operating section is linked to and supported by the supporting section through axles. The opening section, the operating section and the supporting section are integrated through a thin wall portion and the support axles by molding. When the other end portion of the operating section is raised, the axles are twisted and the operating section rotates about the axles to close groove. Accordingly, the end portion of the opening section is pressed by the end portion of the operating section and the part of the container located beneath the opening section is opened by the opening section.

The burner unit (22) is provided with a plurality of nozzles (31) that are arranged in a pattern that corresponds in shape to the shape of the underside periphery of the cap body (51). A shield plate (57) is positionable above the nozzles (31) to deflect the hydrogen-oxygen gas mixture emitted from the nozzles (31), and an igniter (32) is disposed adjacent one of the nozzles (31), to ignite the mixture emitted from the nozzle (31).

The lid (1) comprising a lid body (10) with an opening (11) for dispensing and a pull cap (20) having a cap portion (21) to reclose the opening (11) and a pull tab portion (22) integrally formed with the cap portion(21). The opening (11) is covered by a gas-barrier film (23) sealed to a lower surface of the lid body (10). The cap portion (21) is sealed to the gas-barrier film (23) and a clearance (25) is provided between the opening (11) and the outer periphery (15) of the cap portion (21). A method of manufacturing the lid involves inserting the gas-barrier film into a mold cavity, injecting a thermoplastic resin into the cavity to form the lid body, while still warm the molding is removed. After removal, the molding can be thermally shaped along its periphery to form a flange (12) for mounting to a container.

Prior to the molding process the skeleton can be roughly adapted to the individual auditory canal by a suitable deformation of the connecting element (5). The diaphragm (2) is not only gas-permeable and liquid-impermeable at right angles to its main surface.
