Abstract: The application describes an apparatus including a non-transitory memory including instructions to perform random access in a beam sweeping network having a cell. The network includes a downlink sweeping subframe, an uplink sweeping subframe and a regular sweeping subframe. The apparatus also includes a processor operably coupled to the non-transitory memory. The processor is configured to execute the instructions of selecting an optimal downlink transmission beam transmitted by the cell during the downlink sweeping subframe. The processor is also configured to execute the instructions of determining an optimal downlink reception beam from the optimal downlink transmission beam. The processor is further configured to execute the instructions of determining a random access preamble and a physical random access channel (PRACH) resource via resource selection from the optimal downlink transmission beam.

Abstract: In an example embodiment, a selection of an image in a user interface is received. Then information about the image is received. Then a look is identified for the image, wherein the look is a category for the image based at least in part on one or more visual attributes of the image as shown in the image The identified look is then compared with one or more item listings stored in a database to identify one or more matching item listings, the one or more matching item listings containing associated images that correspond to the look. Finally, the one or more matching item listings are displayed in the user interface.

Abstract: In some embodiments, an app provides a geolocation-limited marketplace limited to a pre-defined period of time. The geolocation-limited marketplace is accessible only by the users in a predefined geographical area. Typically, the predefined geographical area is limited to an area small enough for a user to walk from one end to the other in a short period of time. The pre-defined period of time is of some limited length of time that may occur at a pre-defined interval. In some instances, the period of time is one hour.
