Abstract: A lidded cylindrical container having an inlet duct having an intake for connecting to gas flow having particulate or liquid, and an outtake for directing the as flow downwardly and tangentially across a wail of the container. An outlet duct is integrally connected around the inlet duct and having an intake opening into the inside of the lidded cylindrical container and an outtake adapted to move the gas flow away from the particulate collection device leaving the particulate within the lidded cylindrical container. The cyclonic particulate collection device is secured to the lidded container through a single opening in the lidded cylindrical container.

By clearing out the residual gain, uniform signal amplitudes can be obtained.

Abstract: A method of providing a custom response in conjunction with an application providing speech interaction is described. In one embodiment, the method comprises determining a context of a current interaction with the user, and identifying an associated custom animation, when the associated custom animation exists. The method further comprises displaying the custom animation by overlaying it over a native response of the application. In one embodiment, when no custom animation exists, the method determines whether there is a default animation, and displays the default animation as part of a state change of the application.

A multi-protocol flow representing packets captured from the telecommunications network during a selected time period is displayed on a user interface of a network monitoring system. The multi-protocol flow is highlighted on the user interface display if any session records within the multi-protocol flow do not meet operator-defined criteria. The user interface detects a user's selection of the multi-protocol flow and displays a plurality of protocol-specific flows that are within the multi-protocol flow. The user interface detects the user's selection of one of the protocol-specific flows and displays a plurality of session flows that are within the selected protocol-specific flow. Any session records that do not meet operator-defined criteria are highlighted on the user interface.

Abstract: Techniques for providing an immersive storytelling experience using a plurality of storytelling devices. Each of the storytelling devices may be configured to perform one or more actions based on a current context of a story and in response to a stimulus event. The actions include at least one of an auditory and a visual effect. Embodiments also provide a controller device configured to manage a playback of the story, by adjusting the stimulus event and the effect of each of the plurality of storytelling devices, based on the current context of the story, thereby creating an interactive and immersive storytelling experience.

Abstract: Presented herein is a multipass optical amplifier including a thin-disk gain medium, a first reflective element optically coupled to the gain medium, a first parabolic reflector in optical communication with the gain medium and the first reflective element, a second parabolic reflector in optical communication with the first parabolic reflector, and a second reflective element in optical communication with the second parabolic reflector. The amplifier also includes a pump source, a signal beam source, and a chamber having first and second regions configured about the multipass optical amplifier with a port that extracts gas from the chamber. The first region includes the first parabolic reflector, the gain medium, and the first reflective element. The second region of the chamber includes the second reflective element and the second parabolic reflector. An input optic propagates the signal beam through the amplifier to impinge the gain medium multiple times for gain.
