Abstract: A method, computer program product, and computer system for managing and tracking commands associated with a change on a managed computer system. The managed computer system receives a log-on of an administrator onto the managed computer system, determines the lockdown level of the managed computer system by querying a managing computer system, and retrieves a list of authorized commands under the lockdown level from the managing computer system. The managed computer system determines, by querying the managing computer system, whether an authorized change on the managed computer system exists. The managed computer system removes the lockdown level to receive from the managing computer system authorization of commands that have been locked down, in response to determining that the authorized change exists. The managed computer system sets the lockdown level with the authorized commands on the managed computer system, in response to determining that the authorized change does not exist.

Abstract: Methods for analyzing, selecting, characterizing or classifying compositions of a co-polymer, e.g., glatiramer acetate are described. The methods entail analysis of pyro-glutamate in the composition, and, in some methods, comparing the amount of pyro-glutamate present in a composition to a reference standard.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for generating hyperspectral images, which may correspond to a three dimensional image in which two dimensions correspond to a spatial field of view and a third dimension corresponds to a frequency domain absorption spectrum. Disclosed systems and methods include those employing dual optical frequency comb Fourier transform spectroscopy and computational imaging for generation of hyperspectral images. Such a combination advantageously allows for imaging systems to exhibit low size, weight, and power, enabling small or handheld sized imaging devices.

Abstract: Methods of forming polymer layers on polymer surfaces using surface initiated atom-transfer radical-polymerization (ATRP) are described. The method can include functionalization steps prior to performing surface initiated ATRP, such as hydroxylation steps and/or halogenation steps. The hydroxylation step can be carried out in a solution including potassium persulfate, ammonium persulfate, or lithium hydroxide. The halogenation step can also be carried out in a solution. The methods described herein can be performed on bundles of hollow polymer fibers, including bundles of hollow polymer fibers mounted in a module.

Abstract: An air filtration system for a passenger compartment of a motor vehicle includes a filter bed positioned downstream from a blower motor and upstream from one or more vents. The air filtration system additionally includes a heater coupled to the filter bed, a sensor configured to measure a functional capacity of the filter bed, and a controller configured to regenerate the filter bed using the heater as initiated by the real-time sensor.

Abstract: A REX activation detection and control module system configured to allow a REX device having at least four connectors to electrically connect with ACS devices having at least four connectors, while only connecting two wires to the REX device. The system comprises a first REX input/output device comprising two couplings and a second REX input/output device comprising at least four couplings. The system also comprises a current sense amplifier electrically connected to the first REX input/output device, the current sense amplifier configured to measure current from either the first REX input/output device. The system also comprises a microcontroller electrically connected to the current sense amplifier, the microcontroller configured to monitor the rolling average of the measured current output from the current sense amplifier. When the microcontroller detects an anomaly within the rolling average of the measured current, the microcontroller will activate the relay.

Abstract: A novel and useful degauss circuit for use with electromagnetic door locks. The door lock circuit is configured to provide a constant current to the electromagnetic coil load. A pulse width modulation (PWM) controller varies the frequency and/or duty cycle to a switch in series with the coil. Coil current feedback is used to adjust the PWM frequency and/or duty cycle so as to maintain the current through the coil at a certain level to maintain a desired holding force on the door lock. A degauss circuit inline with the current flowing through the coil is provided. When triggered either in an uncontrolled or controlled manner, a series RLC circuit that includes the coil inductance and resistance causes ringing to occur whereby the coil current reverses direction with sufficient amplitude and duration to degauss the coil.

Abstract: Methods are provided for reliably self-testing a water injection system that injects water into the engine responsive to engine operating conditions such as knock, the water injection system refilled manually or via the collection of water on-board the vehicle. Responsive to a water injection error, learned based on a change in a defined set of engine parameters while ramping water injection during selected conditions, the presence of clogging in a water line may be determined. Based on a degree of clogging, subsequent water injection may be appropriately adjusted.
