Abstract: A method includes providing a fan unit that has an elongate housing and supports that support the fan unit on a support surface. The elongate housing has an intake, a discharge, and a hollow interior in which a blower is rotatably disposed such that when the fan unit is energized, the blower draws air from the intake into the hollow interior and discharges air from hollow interior through the discharge. The intake has a length that extends in a direction parallel to a longitudinal axis of the housing. The discharge has a length that extends in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis of the housing. A user is directed to place the fan unit on the support surface in a manner such that the fan is supported by the supports and the longitudinal axis of the housing is horizontal.

The trigger mechanism is configured to actuate the pump mechanism to pump the liquid as the trigger mechanism is moved. The trigger mechanism has a second camming surface configured to engage with the first camming surface of the pump mechanism. The first and second camming surfaces are shaped and configured such that motion of the trigger mechanism causes the second camming surface to engage with the first camming surface to move the plunger along the first axis.

The trigger mechanism is moveable between a first trigger position and a second trigger position. The lock mechanism is engageable with the trigger mechanism and movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The lock mechanism is adapted to engage the trigger mechanism when the lock mechanism is in the engaged position and thereby prevent the trigger mechanism from moving from the first trigger position to the second trigger position. The lock mechanism is further adapted to permit the trigger mechanism to move from the first trigger position to the second trigger position when the lock mechanism is in the disengaged position.
