  • Publication number: 20190288937
Abstract: In a context of transient disturbance occurring ata networking equipment receiving and forwarding data packets on a plurality of links according to a scheduling policy, a salient idea is to detect retransmitted packets among the received packets, the retransmitted packets being received by the networking equipment, corresponding to retransmissions of packets previously received and forwarded by the networking equipment on one of the links. The retransmissions of the packet, previously forwarded on one of the links, are representative of a disturbance of the link and the scheduling policy is advantageously adjusted to balance at least a part of the data traffic from that link to the other links.

  • Publication number: 20180368684
Abstract: A system and method are provided for detecting a behavior patterns of a user. In one embodiment, the method comprises receiving information about activities of a user and calculating duration of each activity. Each activity that exceeds a threshold duration is categorized and labelled accordingly. Activities with similar labels are grouped and labelled activities are analyzing. Alerts are then generated for certain behavioral patterns such as those exhibiting anomalies.

  • Publication number: 20180115900
Abstract: Method and system of access of a mobile terminal to information in an area The present disclosure relates to the field of information retrieval and provides a system and method allowing a mobile terminal (10) to access information in an area. It relies on a dynamic and reconfigurable association between a mobile terminal and a collection of relevant information stored in the database of the area. To this end, the mobile terminal obtains an authorization (13) to access the area, which also enables the mobile terminal to access information relating to objects located in the vicinity of the mobile terminal at the time it enters the area. Such information is stored in a database relative to the area.

  • Patent number: 9838642
Abstract: A signaling method of video content and services broadcast by to a multitude of reception devices, the contents being encoded into data packets transmitted in a transport stream associated with a signaling stream is disclosed that comprises an insertion step of a unique identifier associated with each of the video contents or services in the signaling stream; an insertion step of the unique identifier into packets of the transport stream transmitting the video content or service corresponding to the unique identifier. Advantageously, the unique identifier is derived from a characteristic of the content among the title of the video content or service, the date and theoretical continuous broadcast time of the video content or service. A method for recording and a recording device using the signaling is further disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9232257
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for navigation in a panoramic video sequence displayed on a user terminal. The video sequence is divided into a plurality of non-overlapping video patches each corresponding to a zone of the video sequence. The video patches required to form a zone of the panoramic video sequence to be displayed on a screen of the user terminal, called the visibility zone, are determined according to navigation commands. According to the invention, the video patches are provided to the user terminal, for one part, via a first transmission network and, for another part, via a second transmission network distinct from said first transmission network.
