  • Patent number: 12362472
Abstract: A switchable patch antenna comprises a planar conductor having an aperture (hole) formed in the middle of the planar conductor. Radiation of a sinusoidal signal is controlled by comparison of separate impedance values for two components that have separate impedance values. Each of the two components have one end coupled together at the terminal positioned at a center of the aperture and their other ends separately coupled to opposing edges of the aperture. A sinusoidal signal source is also coupled to the terminal positioned at the aperture's center. Further, when the impedance values of both components are substantially equivalent, radiation by the antenna of the provided signal and/or mutual coupling of other signals is disabled. Also, when an impedance value of one of the two components is substantially greater than the other impedance value of the other component, the provided signal is radiated and/or mutual coupling is enabled.

  • Publication number: 20250131658
Abstract: A computing system obtains a plurality of images and associated image information. Each of the plurality of images depicts a particular Point of Interest (POI). For each of the plurality of images, the image information is descriptive of a plurality of image characteristics, such as a geolocation characteristic indicative of a geolocation at which the image was captured and/or an interaction metric derived from previous user interactions with the image. The computing system selects a particular image of the plurality of images based on the image information and generates a movement pattern for a camera viewpoint within a three-dimensional environment. The movement pattern for the camera viewpoint moves around a three-dimensional representation of the particular POI within the three-dimensional environment, and a starting position for the movement pattern is based, at least in part, on the geolocation at which the particular image was captured.

  • Publication number: 20250123445
Abstract: Matched fiber optic connectors are formed by aligning separate fiber bodies and then cutting optical fibers secured in the separate fiber bodies. The matched pair of fiber optic connectors are capable of supporting high-fiber count connectivity. The process includes placing optical fibers into a first fiber body aligned with a second fiber body with the optical fibers traversing a predetermined gap between the first end face and the second end face of the fiber bodies and securing the optical fibers to the fiber bodies using an adhesive. The optical fibers are cut at the predetermined gap between the aligned end faces of respective fiber bodies, thereby creating a first fiber optic connector having the first ends of the cut optical fibers matched and suitable for optical mating with the second ends of the cut optical fibers in a second fiber optic connector.
