  • Patent number: 11355861
Abstract: A patch antenna array system is provided. The patch antenna array system can include a plurality of patch antennas oriented with respect to each other to provide a nearly symmetric radiation pattern over a range of frequencies, such as from 1500 Megahertz (MHz) to 1700 MHz. The patch antenna array system can include a sequential phase feed network that is in communication with the plurality of patch antennas. The sequential phase feed network can be configured to provide a radio frequency (RF) signal to each patch antenna of the plurality of patch antennas such that the patch antenna array system has an axial ratio of less than 1 decibel (dB) over the range of frequencies.

  • Publication number: 20210249775
Abstract: An antenna assembly can be configured for RF communications. The antenna assembly can include a ground plane disposed on a substrate. The antenna assembly can include a patch antenna structure spaced apart from the ground plane. The antenna assembly can include one or more grounded posts coupled to and extending from the substrate. The one or more grounded posts can be arranged along at least a portion of a periphery of the patch antenna structure. The patch antenna structure can emit a radiation pattern based at least in part on a transmit signal. The radiation pattern can induce a resultant field in the one or more grounded posts to adjust a characteristic of the radiation pattern.

  • Patent number: 10677708
Abstract: A microfluidic device for detecting rare cells in a fluid sample comprises the rare cell and other cells. The microfluidic device comprises an inlet for receiving the fluid sample, a labyrinth channel structure in fluid communication with the inlet, and an outlet in fluid communication with the labyrinth channel structure for collecting the rare cells separated from the other cells in the fluid sample. The labyrinth channel structure comprises at least one channel through which the fluid sample flows. The at least one channel has a plurality of segments and a plurality of corners with each corner defined between adjacent segments. The presence of the plurality of corners induces separation of the rare cells from the other cells in the fluid sample as the rare cells move to a first equilibrium position within the at least one channel when a ratio of inertial lift forces (FZ) and Dean flow (FD) of the fluid sample is from 2 to 10.

  • Publication number: 20200159704
Abstract: Techniques for generating a schema for a data input file are described herein. In an embodiment, a server computer receives a data input file. The server computer system selects a sample excerpt from the data input which comprises a subset of the data input file. The server computer system analyzes the sample excerpt to determine a row delimiter for the data input file, a column delimiter for the data input file, and a plurality of data format types. Using the column delimiter, row delimiter, and plurality of data format types, the server computer system generates a candidate schema for the data input file.
