Abstract: Compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is phenylalkylamino, alkylamino, dialkylamino, piperidino, morpholino, thiomorpholino or 1-oxido-thiomorpholino;R.sub.2 is dialkylamino, piperidino, morpholino, thiomorpholino or 1-oxido-thiomorpholino; andR.sub.3 is halogen, alkoxy, alkylthio, phenylalkoxy or phenylalkylthio;and non-toxic, pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salts thereof. The compounds as well as their salts are useful as antithrombotics and antimetastatics.

Abstract: This invention is directed to novel benzoxazin-2-ones of the formula ##STR1## wherein A is a sulfur atom or an SO, SO.sub.2, R--N.dbd.S, or R--N.dbd.SO.sub.2 group where R is a hydrogen atom or an acyl group;D is an alkylene group;R.sub.1 is an alkyl, phenylalkyl, cycloalkyl, or phenyl group;R.sub.4 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group;R.sub.5 is a hydrogen or halogen atom or a nitro or alkyl group; andR.sub.6 is a hydrogen or halogen atom or an alkyl group,having valuable pharmacological properties, particularly an antithrombotic activity. The compounds of Formula I may be prepared by the methods used for analogous compounds.

Abstract: A bucket wheel bearing assembly adapted to be attached to a bucket wheel support structure for rotationally supporting bucket wheel shaft to the support structure comprises bucket wheel bearing means to be disposed on the bucket wheel shaft, a bearing box situated outside the bucket wheel bearing means and having a central projection with slanted side faces at the entire outer surface thereof and two side walls, the slanted side faces extending radially outwardly toward the central projection from the both side walls, locking means to be disposed alongside of the central projection of the bearing box, and a plurality of fastening means for connecting the locking means around the bearing box, some of the fastening means connecting the locking means and the bearing box to the support structure.

Abstract: A bucket-wheel excavator has a frame provided with an unsplit-ring bearing that defines an axis for a shaft assembly. This assembly is formed by a solid core shaft extending along the axis through the bearing, an input-side tube shaft fitted over the core shaft to one side of the bearing and having one end turned away from the bearing and formed with an input flange, and an output-side tube shaft fitted over the core shaft to the opposite side of the bearing and having one end also turned away from the bearing and formed with an output flange. The opposite ends of these tube shafts are provided with angularly interengaging formations that rotationally couple them together and bolts press these formations axially into tight engagement with one another. A bucket wheel is carried on the output flange and a drive motor is connected to the input flange for rotating the shaft assembly and bucket wheel about the axis.

Abstract: Compounds of the formula ##STR1## wherein W is vinylene, methyl-vinylene, methylene or ethylene;m is 0, 1 or 2;D is straight or branched alkylene of 2 to 6 carbon atoms, straight or branched hydroxy-alkylene of 3 to 6 carbon atoms, or xylylene;R.sub.1 is hydrogen or alkyl of 1 to 3 carbon atoms;R.sub.2 is cycloalkyl of 3 to 6 carbon atoms, aryl of 6 to 10 carbon atoms, aralkyl of 7 to 11 carbon atoms, heteroaryl, heteroarlkyl, 1,2,4-triazolyl, triphenylmethyl, 4,5-bis-(p-chlorophenyl)-oxazol-2-yl, N-methyl-cyclohexylamino-carbonylmethyl,-amino-iminomethyl or, when m is 1 or D is hydroxyalkylene or xylylene, also alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms; andR.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each hydrogen, halogen, alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, amino, acetylamino or nitro.The compounds of the invention are useful as cardiotonics and as antithrombotics.

Abstract: A supporting structure for an elongated tray, such as a trough or rack, which is used to contain and support a multiplicity of cables running through a building, includes an elongated arm member which extends transversely beneath the tray, one end of the elongated arm member being connectable to a building wall or to a ceiling-strut suspended from a ceiling, and an elongated axial power strut which has one end connected to the elongated arm member near the end connectable to a building wall or ceiling-strut and the other end connected to the floor of the tray, the strut extending so as to enclose an angle of preferably 45.degree. with the elongated arm member.

Abstract: New foam fire extinguishing unit for incorporation into rescue cars is described. It consists of a container which contains a liquid adapted to be used for foam production without adding further ingredients. To the container a device is connected which feeds the fire extinguishing liquid under pressure from the container to a hand-held foam generating nozzle. The device may comprise a motor driven pump or an air pressure device. The foam fire extinguishing unit may be a mixture of water and "Light Water". The new foam fire extinguishing unit can also be used as a stationary unit in work shops and warehouses.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for dewatering granulated material, particularly blast furnace slag that has been granulated by quenching hot slag. The quenched material is dewatered in a bucket wheel whose scoops have perforated bottoms. The solids from the wheel are discharged onto a continuous conveyor; while the liquid is passed along an inclined filter and then clarified and reused. Various filter and clarifier constructions are disclosed.

The compounds as well as the salts are useful as antithrombotics, anticholesteremics and anticoagulants.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a synchronized change-speed gear unit for automobiles, having a pair of gear wheels which can be engaged into or disengaged from the power train by axially shifting an internally toothed gear-shift sleeve which is connected with a shaft via a guide sleeve so as to be torsionally rigid, an externally toothed clutch body being rigidly secured to the one gear wheel which is coaxial with the gear-shift sleeve; each clutch body is associated with a synchronizing ring which, in the circumferential direction, is in positive connection with the gear-shift sleeve and in frictional contact with the clutch body and which has a lock toothing permitting meshing of the internal toothing of the gear-shift sleeve with the external toothing of the clutch body at synchronous speed only.

Abstract: A handle for free-cutting devices which includes a handle member provided with holding elements, a clamping device for detachably connecting the handle member to the handle, and a carrier for a shank carrying the cutting tool of the free-cutting device. The clamping device is arranged on the carrier. At least one portion of the clamping device together with the handle member is pivotable relative to the carrier and is arrestable in at least two positions.

Abstract: A clutch arrangement for a motor driven chain saw having a first clutch element driven by the motor shaft and a second clutch element normally engaged with the first clutch element but disengageable therefrom and a centrifugal clutch between the second clutch element and the drive sprocket for the saw chain. The second clutch element includes a spring disc and is axially yieldable between clutch engaged and clutch disengaged positions. A lever is provided moveable for disengaging the clutch elements and a brake member connected to the lever is operable for braking the drive sprocket when the clutch elements are disengaged.
