  • Patent number: 11495124
Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards generating a simulated virtual experience that represents predicted interaction of a user/vehicle with traffic in a traffic zone. A user who is considering entering a traffic zone (e.g., that charges a fee for usage) can request a simulated virtual experience of what is likely to occur if the user decides to enter. Based on the simulated virtual experience, which can be a graphical visualization in 3D, the user can make an informed decision as to whether to enter and pay, or not enter. User-specific data such as user preferences and other provided criterion can be used with respect to generating the simulated virtual experience. For current users about to enter the zone, current traffic data is used along with historical data in generating the simulated virtual experience.

  • Publication number: 20220338294
Abstract: In one example, the present disclosure describes a device, computer-readable medium, and method for instantiating intelligent service delivery parameters within protected hardware. For instance, in one example, a method includes instantiating within a user endpoint device an end-to-end slice of a communications network, wherein the slice is configured to carry data over the communications network subject to a predefined combination of network service metrics, transmitting user data from the user endpoint device to the communications network via the slice when the user endpoint device is able to establish a radio connection to the communications network, and storing the user data locally in the user endpoint device when the user endpoint device is unable to establish a radio connection to the communications network.

  • Publication number: 20220330078
Abstract: Adjusting a network path between a user equipment and a network edge cloud instance is disclosed. The adjustment of the network path can be based on performance of the network path. The performance of the network path can be ranked, based on performance, against other network paths. In an embodiment, the other network paths can be between the user equipment and the network edge cloud instance. Additionally, the other network paths can be between the user equipment and another network edge cloud instance that can be located remotely from the network edge cloud instance. In an embodiment, a recommendation can be provided to a cloud service provider to enable the cloud service provider to adjust a characteristic of an application or service performed by a network edge cloud instance. The disclosed subject matter can provide advantages over conventional cloud instances that are typically supported on a device located distant from a network device operated by a network provider.

  • Publication number: 20220318207
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, segmenting a file to obtain a set of segments, wherein the file can be regenerated according to a recombination of the set of segments. At least some segments are transported to a targeted group of users including a first group of users and a second group of users, via unlicensed frequency spectrum and according to a peer-to-peer file sharing process. A segmentation record identifying the set of segments is provided to the targeted group of users. A progress of a delivery of the set of segments is monitored according to the segmentation record. The progress of the delivery is analyzed to identify a deficiency in delivery of a particular segment of the set of segments. Responsive to the deficiency, the particular segment is provided to the first group of users via a licensed frequency spectrum. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20220301419
Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards customizable traffic zones that work with wireless communication network, and can be configured based on various data, including traffic data. A vehicle and/or wireless communication network user device within the traffic zone facilitate monitoring of the vehicle/user device. Pricing can be based on entering and exiting the zone, dwell time in the zone, user profile data and other factors such as time of day, day of week and so forth. A customizable traffic zone can be configured and reconfigured as needed, such as to expand or contract a zone, exclude an area, and so forth. User devices can be targeted, including geo-fencing for warning users about to enter a traffic zone that charges for usage, or to provide other relevant messages.

  • Publication number: 20220282983
Abstract: Dynamic customization of an autonomous vehicle experience is presented herein. A dynamic recommendation engine can comprise a subscriber interface component, a data component, and a configuration component. The subscriber interface component can receive, from a subscriber of an autonomous vehicle service, a request specifying a route of transport by an autonomous vehicle; and based on the request, the data component can obtain, via a network slice comprising a virtual network function of the autonomous vehicle service, profile information for the subscriber and route information for the route. Further, the configuration component can determine, via the network slice based on the profile information and the route information, configuration data for the autonomous vehicle, and send, via the network slice, the configuration data directed to the autonomous vehicle to facilitate the transport by the autonomous vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11436355
Abstract: Structured access to volunteered private data disclosed. Access can be based on security and privacy constraint information (SPCI) that can be selected by the party volunteering the private data. The volunteered data can be stored in a protected portion of a public network. The SPCI can be correlated to the volunteered data. In response to receiving a request for access to the volunteered data, an attribute of the request can be determined to satisfy one or more rules related to the SPCI prior to facilitating access to a version of a portion of the volunteered data. The version of the portion of the volunteered data can be a redaction of the portion of the volunteered data. The version of the portion of the volunteered data can be aggregated with other portions of other volunteered data determined to satisfy corresponding SPCI related rules.

  • Publication number: 20220279053
Abstract: A connected-device network can continually learn from abstract sensory data (e.g., speech processing, cognitive inference, and/or computer vision image segmentation) and can generate never-seen-before data in real time. In one aspect, the network devices extract important correlations in the sensor data based on network data collected at different time slice and/or locations. Further, underlying relationships in a set of data can be detected as the sensor data transverses through different layers of the network. Moreover, the network devices can provide logic in different layers to help classify the sensor data early in the detection process (e.g., instead of waiting for it to reach its final destination).

  • Patent number: 11411773
Abstract: Methods, computer-readable media and devices are disclosed for storing content from an endpoint device in a network cache. For example, a processor receives a security policy for the endpoint device defining a type of content for storing in the network cache, and determines that traffic from the endpoint device includes content of the content type for storing in the network cache. When it is determined that the traffic includes the content of the content type for storing in the network cache, the processor instantiates the network cache, stores the content in the network cache, and sends a notification to a designated device. The notification includes at least one parameter associated with the content. The processor further receives a decision from the designated device and performs a task regarding the content in response to the decision.

  • Publication number: 20220029742
Abstract: A user equipment (e.g., C-V2X user equipment) can receive a transmission from a network device of a mobile network and decode the transmission using a first forward error correction code. The user equipment can determine an attribute of the transmission to determine a condition of the communication channel. Based on the condition of the communication channel, the user equipment can facilitate transmitting feedback to the network device, wherein the feedback is forwarded through the mobile network to an application server device that selects a second forward error correction code based on the feedback. The second forward error correction code can be transmitted to, and received by, the user equipment. The user equipment can use the second forward error correction code to decode subsequent transmissions.

Abstract: A cooperative intelligent traffic system is provided for use between bicycles, motorcycles, and other vehicles. Sensor data from mobile devices and other sensor devices associated with the vehicle can be sent to an edge network computing device (e.g., a multi-access edge computing device) and be processed at the edge network to identify threats and hazards, and then transmit the threat assessment data to other bicycles, motorcycles, and vehicles nearby. The threat assessment data can be used by the operators of the other vehicles to warn them of upcoming threats, hazards, road conditions, and other pertinent conditions.
