In addition, a weight is disposed in a-concealed manner in the base of the jar, between the walls, to give the jar a heft feel, characteristic of glass or thick plastic walls.

The user interface includes search result information associated with a first entity and communication initiation information associated with the first entity. The publication system also includes a receiving module configured to receive a lead data record from a communication system for communication between the first entity and a second entity via the contact module. Abstract: A computer-based method of generating an animated sequence of images eliminates inefficiencies associated with a lighting process. The method begins with the provision of a frame for the animation sequence. The frame includes at least one asset, which may be a character, background, or other object. The frame is rendered to thereby produce a set of images each based upon a different lighting condition. The frame is then composited during which a subset of the images are selected from the set and then adjusted. Settings such as intensity and color balance are adjusted for each of the subset of images.

The active integrator is configured to receive from the touch sense array a response signal having a positive portion and a negative portion. The response signal is representative of a presence or an absence of a conductive object on the touch sense array. The active integrator is configured to continuously integrate the response signal.

Further, a gait recognition component can be configured to record one or more walking patterns of the pedestrian in a training database; and determine whether the world coordinate information is associated with a walking pattern of the one or more walking patterns. Furthermore, a position estimation component can be configured to estimate a position of the pedestrian based on the world coordinate information if the world coordinate information is associated with the walking pattern, regardless of an orientation of the sensor platform with respect to the position of the pedestrian.

Abstract: An improved floor mat having a cellular topography. Individual cells define a containment portion to contain liquid and debris. Part of the wall of the containment portion serves as a common wall for adjacent containment portions. The common wall between adjacent containment cells defines one or more openings so that the adjacent cells are in fluid communication with each other to distribute liquid as evenly as possible on the floor mat surface. The openings preferably are troughs that include intermediate ribs. The bottom of the trough is located at a higher elevation than the bottom of the containment portion. This allows the containment portion to hold a certain amount of liquid before spilling into another containment portion. The ribs extend upward and serve as cleaners for soles of shoes, and also help keep clothing from contacted the liquid and debris.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a combination of a 6-axis motion sensor having a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis linear accelerometer, a motion processor and a radio integrated circuit chip (IC), wherein the intelligence in the motion processor enables the communication between the motion sensor, the radio IC and the external network. The motion processor also enables power savings by adaptively controlling the data rate of the motion sensor, depending on the amount or speed of the motion activity.

Abstract: An image-based system and process of paper target scoring, and paper targets for use therewith, are disclosed. The system and process utilize functions that accumulate accuracy values based upon presumptions supplied to the present invention based upon the characteristics of bullet holes within paper target prior to any center point analysis. Subpixel analysis of images may heighten the accuracy of the scoring. The paper targets possess visual attributes adapted to permit scoring of the paper targets to be more rapid, facile, accurate, and secure.

To provide an optimal shopping experience for consumers, handheld electronic devices must be made accessible to users, while simultaneously being secured to prevent theft. A security system can include a coupler connected to an electronic device. The coupler can include a connector operative to provide power and/or data to the electronic device. A cable transferring the power and data can also include an alarm path and a security cable for providing security. The security cable may be difficult to cut, and the alarm path can direct an alarm to sound if the cable is cut or if the electronic device is disconnected from the coupler.

The method includes generating a score for each of a plurality of possible results compared to information associated with a user, enabling the user to access a result of the plurality of possible results if the score generated for the result meets a threshold condition, enabling the user to adjust the threshold condition and preventing the user from adjusting the threshold condition beyond a minimum threshold condition. The score can be a bi-directional matching score. The minimum threshold condition can include a minimum score. The minimum score can be determined based on the percentage of the plurality of possible results that would be accessible to the user.
