  • Publication number: 20170103489
Abstract: According to exemplary embodiments, a secure kiosk for receiving, transmitted, securing, and verifying data may be shown and described. For example, the kiosk may be fully automated. The kiosk may include a display, a tablet computer, a card reader, a printer, and a network link. For example, a kiosk may be provided and may be fully automated. The kiosk may accept data inputs in a variety of manners. The inputted data may then be transmitted, in real time, to a first server, where the information can be displayed and stored. Additionally, the information, at predetermined times, may be transmitted to a number of other servers which may receive, compare, and validate information. Further, a hierarchical data transmission system may be utilized such that, when information is verified or indicated as unverified at any of the other servers, instructions may be sent to at least the first server and the kiosk.

  • Publication number: 20160325206
Abstract: Devices and methods for pre-conditioning and/or post-conditioning a host fluid containing a second fluid or particulate are disclosed. The devices include a flow chamber having first opening and a particulate outlet. The devices can also include side openings and alignment, fluid, and particulate screens. An ultrasonic transducer can be driven to create an acoustic standing wave in the flow chamber, or alternatively be driven to excite the wall of the flow chamber in which it is located. This creates a uniformly stratified flow within the flow chamber, with the second fluid or particulate being aligned in planes in the fluid mixture. This permits the host fluid to be separated therefrom using the fluid screen and the particulate screen.

  • Publication number: 20160237395
Abstract: Acoustic perfusion devices for separating biological cells from other material in a fluid mixture are disclosed. The devices include an inlet port, an outlet port, and a collection port that are connected to an acoustic chamber. • Publication number: 20150330987
Abstract: Compositions, methods, and systems are provided for nucleotide analogs comprising protein shields for improving enzyme photostability in single molecule real time sequencing. Nucleotide analogs of the invention have a protein shield between the dye moieties and nucleotide moieties of the analog. The nucleotide analogs have two avidin proteins connected by a central dye component, and each avidin protein is further connected to a nucleotide component. The protein can prevent the direct interaction of the dye moiety with the enzyme carrying out nucleotide synthesis preventing photodamage to the enzyme. The nucleotide analogs of the invention can have multiple dyes and multiple nucleotide moieties.
