  • Patent number: 10107502
Abstract: A multi-function outdoor patio table is described, the table including a base surrounding a contained space and a tabletop coupled to the base by a movement assembly. The tabletop is moveable relative to the base between open and closed positions to provide selective access to a functional/storage device within the base, such as a fire pit or an ice bucket. The movement assembly includes a slide rail assembly, a pivot linkage assembly, or the like such that a tabletop surface defined by the tabletop is disposed in a substantially horizontal orientation at both of the open and closed positions and also during movement of the tabletop between the open and closed positions. Thus, the tabletop surface can continue to be used in all configurations of the multi-function outdoor patio table.

  • Publication number: 20180055218
Abstract: A convertible outdoor patio table is provided. The table includes a metallic frame mounted on wheels, the frame surrounding a generally hollow interior, an outer body member which is coupled to and substantially surrounds side portions of the frame, the outer body member being made of a weather resistant material, a railing coupled to the frame and defining a shoulder positioned adjacent the outer body member at the generally hollow interior, a tabletop lid member which removably engages with at least one of the shoulder or the outer body member to close the generally hollow interior, and a functional/storage device which is revealed for access and use when the tabletop lid member is disengaged from the outer body member. The functional/storage device substantially covers a surface area bounded at the top end of the frame to maximize usage of space within the generally hollow interior.

  • Patent number: 9888800
Abstract: A rotatable serving carousel is configured to provide serving elements extending from a centerpiece. Bowls or other useful items may be placed or connected with a carrier of the serving element. At least one arm extends from the second portion of the centerpiece to the carrier(s) and allows for rotation of the bowl generally horizontally over the table through the connection with the arm to the second portion. A user may manually push or pull on any portion of the serving element to rotate the bowl to a desired position relative to the table. The serving carousel may be provided with one or more serving elements and bowls, and the carousel improves access to these bowls while also lifting those elements off a tabletop surface to allow for more space efficiency in outdoor patio furniture using the serving carousel.

  • Patent number: 9568521
Abstract: A distortion estimation apparatus for estimating distortion includes a feedback element, a nonlinearity determiner, and a distortion simulator. The feedback element provides a feedback signal derived from a distorted output signal of the distorting element. A signal processing quality of the feedback element is lower than an associated signal property of the distorted output signal. The nonlinearity determiner receives the feedback signal and an input signal to the distorting element or a signal derived from the input signal. The nonlinearity determiner determines an estimated transmission characteristic of the distorting element by relating signal properties of the feedback signal and the input signal or the signal derived from the input signal. The distortion simulator estimates the distortion caused by the distorting element based on the input signal or the signal derived from the input signal and the estimated transmission characteristic.
