  • Patent number: 12273290
Abstract: A base station may transmit configuration parameters indicating a bandwidth part (BWP), of a cell, associated with a maximum number of transmission layers, and a plurality of demodulation reference signal (DMRS) ports. The base station may transmit downlink control information comprising an antenna port indication value. The base station may determine a subset of DMRS ports, from the plurality of DMRS ports, based on the maximum number of transmission layers associated with the BWP. Based on the antenna port indication value, the base station may select one or more DMRS ports from the subset of DMRS ports. The base station may transmit, via the BWP, a transport block with the one or more selected DMRS ports and with a number of transmission layers. The number may be less than or equal to the maximum number in response to the BWP being associated with the maximum number of transmission layers.

  • Patent number: 12273947
Abstract: A wireless device increments a beam failure instance counter based on a first beam failure instance indication for one or more first reference signals (RSs) for beam failure detection. The wireless device receives a medium access control control element (MAC CE) indicating one or more second RSs for beam failure detection. The wireless device resets the beam failure instance counter in response to receiving the MAC CE. The wireless device increments the beam failure instance counter based on a second beam failure instance indication for the one or more second RSs. • Publication number: 20250113355
Abstract: One or more parameters may be used to configure wireless communications between a wireless device and a base station. A transmission configuration indication selection field may indicate which of two (or more) resources is to be used for a transmission/reception. A transport block size for a transmission occasion may be determined using one of the resources, and the same transport block size may be used for another transmission occasion using another of the resources, for example, if the transmission configuration indication selection field indicates using two resources or if the transmission configuration indication selection field is absent.
