  • Publication number: 20240121135
Abstract: A base station transmits, to a wireless device via a control resource set (CORESET) of a CORESET group of CORESET groups, a downlink control information (DCI) scheduling transmission of an uplink signal, wherein each of the CORESET groups corresponds to a respective sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set of SRS resource sets. The base station determines an SRS resource set, from the SRS resource sets, corresponding to the CORESET group comprising the CORESET. The base station receives the uplink signal based on an SRS resource in the SRS resource set.

  • Publication number: 20240121727
Abstract: A wireless device may receive a message indicating that it is to switch cells, such as in a handover process, and the wireless device may take steps to switch cells. The time needed for making the switch can depend on, for example, the time it takes the wireless device to process that message, and different types of messages (e.g., messages at a media access control—MAC—layer) may be processed more quickly than others. A wireless device may quickly cancel a triggered power headroom report (PHR) procedure for an old cell, and trigger a PHR for a new cell, based on receiving such a message. The canceling and/or triggering may be performed even without resetting a MAC entity of the wireless device.

  • Publication number: 20240121819
Abstract: A first wireless device receives, from a second wireless device, one or more first sidelink transmissions in one or more first consecutive time slots in a resource pool. The first wireless device determines, based on one or more second consecutive time slots for one or more second sidelink transmissions in the resource pool being overlapped with the one or more first consecutive time slots in time domain, to skip a listen-before-talk (LBT) based channel access procedure for the one or more second sidelink transmissions. The first wireless device transmits, based on the determining and in the one or more second consecutive time slots, the one or more second sidelink transmissions.

  • Publication number: 20240121060
Abstract: A wireless device comprises one or more processors and memory storing instructions. When executed by the one or more processors, the instructions cause the wireless device to receive one or more configuration parameters, for a non-terrestrial network (NTN), indicating candidate timing advance (TA) values for a first cell of cells. The instructions cause the wireless device to transmit, via the first cell, a preamble using a TA value selected from the candidate TA values based on one or more measurement power values of reference signals of the cells.

  • Patent number: 11956056
Abstract: A wireless device receives one or more messages comprising configuration parameters for a cell group. The cell group comprises: a first secondary cell configured with one or more beam failure recovery (BFR) parameters; and one or more second cells configured to use the first secondary cell for a BFR procedure. A deactivation timer of the first secondary cell is restarted in response to receiving a physical downlink control channel indicating an uplink grant or a downlink assignment for any secondary cell, other than the first secondary cell, in the cell group.

  • Patent number: 11956722
Abstract: A wireless device receives parameters, including a first discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration associated with unicast transmissions in a cell and a second DRX configuration associated with multicast and broadcast services (MBS) in the cell. The wireless device may also receive a power saving (PS) indication indicating not to start a DRX on duration timer. The PS indication may be applied for the first DRX configuration; and it may not be applied for the second DRX configuration. The wireless device may further skip monitoring, in a first DRX on duration of the first DRX configuration, first physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) for the unicast transmissions based on receiving the PS indication. The wireless device may also monitor, in a second DRX on duration of the second DRX configuration and while skipping monitoring the first PDCCHs in the first DRX on duration, second PDCCHs for the MBS.

  • Publication number: 20240114534
Abstract: A first wireless device receives, from a base station, one or more messages indicating a plurality of sidelink (SL) resource pools of an SL carrier and a channel busy ratio (CBR) threshold. The first wireless device, in response to a CBR of a SL resource pool being below or equal to the CBR threshold, selects, among the plurality of SL resource pools, the SL resource pool based on: an SL feedback transmission being disabled for an SL logical channel; and the SL resource pool comprising at least one physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) resource. The first wireless device transmits, to a second wireless device via the SL resource pool, an SL data of the SL logical channel.
