  • Patent number: 10163347
Abstract: Vehicles which are provided with at least one sensor and a location system, such as a Global Positioning System (GPS) detect parking spaces and/or road obstacles when driving along a road. The detected parking space and/or road obstacle data is transferred to a remote processing module. The processing module may then provide the detected parking space and/or road obstacle data to a requesting vehicle, which is located in the vicinity of the detected parking space and/or road obstacle. In addition, the at least one sensor may detect road data, such as data regarding parking restrictions at the location of the detected parking space. The detected road data may be used to determine whether the detected parking space is available to the requesting vehicle. Furthermore, parking permit data may be used to determine whether the detected parking space is available to the requesting vehicle.

Abstract: Methods and systems to perform textual queries on voice communications. The system has an index service for storing a audio content data sets for voice communications. The audio content data sets include at least three audio content data sets for each voice communication. The three audio content data sets include a first audio content data set generated using a speech-to-text conversion technique, a second audio content data set generated using a phoneme lattice technique, and a third audio content data set generated using a keyword identification technique. The system includes a search engine configured to: receive search criteria from a user, the search criteria having at least one keyword; search each of the first, second and third audio content data sets for at least a portion of the plurality of voice communications to identify voice communications matching the search criteria; and combine the voice communications identified by each search to produce a combined list of identified voice communications.

  • Patent number: 9443084
Abstract: A network with authentication implemented using a client health enforcement framework. The framework is adapted to receive plug-ins on clients that generate health information. Corresponding plug-ins on a server validate that health information. Based on the results of validation, the server may instruct the client to remediate or may authorize an underlying access enforcement mechanism to allow access. A client plug-in that generates authentication information formatted as a statement of health may be incorporated into such a framework. Similarly, on the server, a validator to determine, based on the authentication information, whether the client should be granted network access can be incorporated into the framework. Authentication can be simply applied or modified by changing the plug-ins, while relying on the framework to interface with an enforcement mechanism.
