Abstract: A cooking system includes a cooking unit and a plurality of cooking vessels. The cooking unit may have a cooking surface. The plurality of cooking vessels may include at least a first cooking vessel having a first cavity and a second cooking vessel. The cooking system may be alterable between a storage state and one or more cooking states. In the cooking states, any one of the plurality of cooking vessels may be located atop of the cooking surface of the cooking unit to cook food contained therein. In the storage state, the cooking unit and the second cooking vessel may be located within the first cavity of the first cooking vessel, with the cooking unit located between the second cooking vessel and a floor of the first cavity of the first cooking vessel.

Abstract: A cooking appliance includes a base unit and a heating unit. The heating unit may be attached to the base unit in a first cooking position or configuration for heating food located within a cooking receptacle of the base unit. A locking mechanism may lock the heating unit to the base unit in the first cooking position. The heating unit may be detached from the base and placed atop of a support surface in a second cooking position that is an inverted orientation relative to the first cooking position. In the second cooking position, food may be placed onto the exposed upper surface of the heating unit for cooking. In the second cooking position, a cooking plate may be placed atop of the upper surface of the heating unit to support food thereon for cooking.

A first storage unit is located within the primary cavity to define a first storage area having a first opening at the front end of the base that is closed by a first closure member. A second storage unit is located within the primary cavity to define a second storage area having a second opening at the front end of the base that is closed by a second closure member. The primary cavity may have a rear portion located between the first and second storage units and the rear end of the base. A compressor may be located within the rear portion of the primary cavity and may be operably coupled to the first storage area to cool the first storage area.

The cord storage compartment may include a central support portion. The power cord may be configured to be at least partially wrapped around the central support portion. The cord storage compartment may be movable relative to the housing between: (1) a closed position wherein the central support portion is located within the cavity of the housing; and (2) an open position wherein the central support portion protrudes from the housing to allow adjustments to an amount of the power cord that is wrapped around the central support portion.
