  • Patent number: 6509823
Abstract: An electrical functional device for use in the field of aviation, for example, a safety switch, is described. The functional device has a housing out of which a cylindrical fixing neck projects. The fixing neck contains, on an outer circumference thereof, a fine-pitch threading for screwing on a nut, and carries, at a distance from the end thereof that is attached to the housing, a radially protruding bearing flange. The bearing flange serves to hold the device in a fixed position, in which the fixing neck projects through a fastening hole of a wall element and is held therein against the bearing flange by a nut. The fixing neck is a one-piece part made out of plastic. It contains, between the end of the threading thereof and the bearing flange, an unthreaded shaft area, which is coaxial in relation to the fixing neck.

  • Patent number: 4885331
Abstract: Heat-resistant, polymer-containing, solvent-free adhesive compositions are prepared by reacting a novel mixture of saturated polyester or copolyester with capped isocyanate under the influence of temperature and, if necessary, catalysts, with evident viscosity increase, with cross-linking as appropriate. The adhesive compositions combine the process-technical properties of low-viscosity melt-adhesives and the strength, tenacity and stability of cross-linked duroplasts or high-viscosity thermoplasts. Subsequent working and protection from explosion are not necessary. Use is possible in each known art for melt-adhesives, e.g. as paste, powder, melt, textiles, or flat structures. In addition, the compositions are suitable as melt coatings or for injection moulding reactions.

  • Patent number: 3959215
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for reducing degradation in the spinning of fiber-forming polyesters by adding to the polyester granules before spinning compounds of the general formula ##SPC1##In which hydrogen atoms may be replaced by alkyl or aryl radicals. These compounds react with the carboxyl end groups of the polyester, whereby in addition to the lesser degradation, a reduction of the number of free carboxyl end groups in the fiber is also obtained.
