  • Patent number: 11970193
Abstract: A rail vehicle car for transporting passengers comprising a car body, a car body floor, a car body ceiling and a front end area. An A-pillar is disposed in the front portion. The car body has a longitudinal extent and a transverse extent, and the longitudinal extent is greater than the transverse extent. The car body includes a height extension transverse to the longitudinal and transverse extensions. The A-pillar is substantially centered in the transverse direction so that the front region is divided into a first side and a second side, and the first side comprises 30-70% of the transverse extent.

  • Publication number: 20090120109
Abstract: A self-cooling packaging comprises a cavity forming a heat exchanger (20) and containing a refrigerant liquid and the vapour thereof and a cavity forming an adsorption chamber (30) for pumping of said vapour. The packaging also includes connection means (40) provided in a common wall (25) of said cavities (20, 30), said connection means comprising a check valve (42), and actuating means (45) disposed on the side of the adsorption chamber cavity (30) and adapted to open the check valve (42) to an initial position inside the heat exchanger cavity (20). The packaging further comprise spring means (43), the check valve (42) being adapted to progressively reach a fully open position under the action of said spring means (43). The invention makes it possible to realise a progressive opening of the check valve inside the heat exchanger cavity.

  • Publication number: 20080073358
Abstract: A self-refrigerating packaging item comprising a glass bottle (1), forming a first cavity (10) containing a product that is to be refrigerated, a second cavity (20) forming an evaporator and containing a refrigerating liquid and the vapor thereof, and a third cavity (30) containing means for absorption pumping of the vapor; and means (40) enabling communication between the second and third cavities (20, 30). The first and second cavities (10, 20) have a common metal wall (15) forming a heat exchanger and the bottom of the bottle (1). The self-refrigerating bottle has a tight, simple design and can be produced at low cost.

  • Publication number: 20080047279
Abstract: A self-cooling package comprises a first cavity (10) containing a product to be cooled, a second cavity (20) forming a heat exchanger and containing a coolant liquid suitable for evaporating under the effect of a depression and a third cavity (30) containing an adsorbent (31) suitable for trapping the coolant liquid vapours. The package also comprises a container (40) suitable for receiving at least the third cavity (30), at least a part of the walls (41) of the container (40) having a thickness of less than 0.15 mm. The package uses a container having a thin wall thickness to receive the adsorbent, which is inexpensive and easy to manufacture. The manufacture of the package is thus simplified and reduced. The container wall thinness also ensures limited heat leakage towards to cooled product.
