The ellipsoidal surface defines an elliptical profile that is orthogonal relative to the planar surface to concentrate heat flux at a distal focus of the elliptical profile using electromagnetic radiation reflected by the ellipsoidal surface of the reflector body.     Abstract: The invention provides a beam optical axis self-stabilizing device and method based on reflection mechanical modulation. The device includes a polarized beam splitter, a quarter-wave plate, a structural reflecting element, and a driving source. The quarter-wave plate is located at an output end of the polarized beam splitter. The reflecting element is located at a side of the quarter-wave plate away from the polarized beam splitter. The driving source drives the structural reflecting element to rotate at a uniform speed with an optical axis as an axis. Incident light passes through the polarized beam splitter to obtain split light. The split light passes through the quarter-wave plate to enter the structural reflecting element. The structural reflecting element rotates so that the phase of reflected light varies with time. The reflected light is modulated by the quarter-wave plate and emitted through the polarized beam splitter, and a target beam is obtained.

The method uses the coal gangue as a main raw material to prepare the ecological restoration material, which can realize the effective utilization of the coal gangue and has good environmental protection, economic and social benefits.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method for detecting single strand breaks (SSBs) in DNA based on the following steps. First, DNA of interest is fragmented with a method that generates 3? ends that cannot be tailed. Second, the available 3? ends of the fragmented DNA corresponding to the pre-existing breaks are tailed. Third, SSBs are captured and their positions are identified genome-wide based on the following steps: (1) the tailed fragments are linearly amplified using a chimeric 5?-DNA-RNA-3? primer; (2) the products of primer extension are tailed at the 3? ends; (3) the desired products are amplified by PCR with oligonucleotides containing Illumina® adaptor sequences complementary to both tails and subjected to next-generation sequencing (NGS); 4) finally, positions of SSBs are revealed through the analysis of sequencing results.
