Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for associating beam indication with a channel state information (CSI) measurement or CSI measurement and reporting. In addition, this disclosure provides CSI processing unit (CPU) occupancy rule for CSI triggered by beam indication, such that a user equipment (UE) may determine a start time for CPU occupancy. For example, a network entity may transmit signaling to a UE to associate at least one beam with a CSI measurement or report in the UE. The network entity may transmit a beam indication to the UE for triggering the UE to perform CSI measurement or CSI measurement and reporting associated with the indicated beam.

  • Patent number: 11995400
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, according to one embodiment, includes: receiving an image having characters that correspond to a language, and using a text recognition algorithm to determine a first language believed to correspond to the characters. A first confidence level associated with the first language is also computed, and a determination is made as to whether the first confidence level associated with the first language is outside a predetermined range. In response to determining that the first confidence level associated with the first language is not outside the predetermined range, the first language is output as the given language. The text recognition algorithm is trained using a simple shallow neural network and a generated mixed language corpus. The generated mixed language corpus is formed by: randomly sampling libraries having vocabulary and/or characters therein, and combining the randomly sampled vocabulary and/or characters to form the generated mixed language corpus.

  • Publication number: 20240171220
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a wireless communications system may support user equipment (UE) cooperation. When a first UE and second UE are in a cooperative configuration, a base station may use the first UE to request and obtain channel information for the second UE. For example, the base station may transmit a request for channel information to the first UE and the first UE may relay the request to the second UE. The second UE may determine the channel information and transmit a report including the channel information to the first UE, where the first UE may relay the report to the base station. In some examples, the report, the request, or both may be exchanged between devices using medium access control control element (MAC-CE)-based methods or using downlink control information (DCI)-based methods. The DCI-based methods may involve relaxed timings.

  • Publication number: 20240171328
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a base station may configure one or more UEs for single frequency network (SFN) communications that provide concurrent communications with a first transmission-reception point (TRP) and a second TRP in a first active bandwidth part (BWP) using a first uplink carrier. In cases where the SFN configuration does not provide an indication of a spatial relation or a path loss reference signal that is associated with the first active BWP, the UE and the TRPs may determine an associated first spatial relation or first path loss reference signal for the SFN communications based at least in part on the first active BWP and the SFN configuration. The UE may transmit uplink SFN communications to one or more TRPs using a beam that is determined based on the first spatial relation or first path loss reference signal.

  • Publication number: 20240168931
Abstract: Provided are techniques for identifying and correcting model focus drift during model training. A model is trained using an original dataset with data, and the is classified into clusters. A representation is assigned to each of the clusters. A first visualization dashboard with visualizations is generated, where each visualization represents a first data distribution of an associated cluster using the representation assigned to that cluster. The model is fine-tuned using a fine-tune dataset. A second visualization dashboard is generated by updating each visualization, where each visualization represents a second data distribution of the associated cluster. It is determined that a cluster of the clusters has focus drift based on changes between the first data distribution and the second data distribution. The focus drift is corrected by: adding the data of the cluster to the fine-tune dataset to form a combined dataset and fine-tuning the model using the combined dataset.
