  • Publication number: 20210211802
Abstract: An apparatus and method of excursion protection of a loudspeaker. The method includes attenuating selected bands in a transform domain, controlled by a feedback signal resulting from an excursion transfer function that has been modified according to the real-time operational characteristics of the loudspeaker. • Patent number: 11052557
Abstract: A razor includes one or more blades that are directly or indirectly heated by RF energy. A control circuit is connected to and operates a high frequency (HF) generator and a HF power amplifier (HFPA) for generating radio frequency (RF) energy throughout a range of controllable power levels. The generated RF energy is guided by a wave guide from the HFPA to a resonance chamber (i.e., band pass filter cavity). The RF energy is radiated from the resonance chamber towards the one or more blades which absorb the RF energy, thereby causing the temperature of the blades to increase. An energy source provides the electric current required for operating the control circuit, the HF generator and the HFPA. In another embodiment, the RF energy is radiated from the resonance chamber towards a heating element that increases in temperature and heats the blades by thermal conduction.

  • Patent number: 11051707
Abstract: This disclosure provides cascaded reference circuits and low amplitude signal sensing circuits used to perform a Subsurface Spectrogram (SSG). The Subsurface Spectrogram can detect the conductive properties of skin and the underlying tissues. The conductive properties inform what electrolytes and moisture levels are present, which in turn can provide information about the physiological state of the mammal. The Subsurface Spectrogram uses an arbitrary waveform generator to provide a reference signal, the return signals are captured and compared to their original characteristics for changes in amplitude, phase and frequency. From these calculations insight into the amount of skin moisture and electrolyte configuration can be gained. Embodiments of such systems may be especially useful in health and fitness wearable devices where feedback on health and exercise can help mammals achieve an optimal workout, or help them to know when they are experiencing unhealthy stress levels.
