    Abstract: A nicotine lozenge includes a body that is partially or wholly receivable in an oral cavity. The body includes a soluble-fiber matrix and nicotine or a derivative thereof dispersed in the soluble-fiber matrix. A nicotine lozenge may include at least 40 weight percent of soluble fiber. Soluble fiber in a nicotine lozenge may include maltodextrin. The nicotine lozenge is adapted to release the nicotine or a derivative thereof from the body when the body is received within the oral cavity of an adult consumer and exposed to saliva. A method of making nicotine lozenges includes forming a molten mixture of at least 40 weight percent soluble fiber, nicotine, and less than 15 weight percent water while maintaining a mixture temperature of less than 150° C. and portioning the molten mixture into a plurality of nicotine lozenges. The ingredients can be mixed to form the molten mixture in an extruder.

    Abstract: A method for determining a direction and a distance of a metallogenic pluton of a skarn deposit with a garnet includes: collecting a sample; performing petrographic observation on the sample and designing an experimental area; computing a parameter; building a model; setting a parameter range; optimizing the parameters of the three models through a grid search method, and determining an optimal model and corresponding parameters a?, b and c through repeated circulative iteration and by taking a minimum R as a limit condition; and substituting data of all sampling points into the optimal model, computing D of each sampling point, drawing a circle with a corresponding sampling point as a center and D as the radius, determining an intersection point of all circles as coordinates of the metallogenic pluton, and performing delineation with R as a buffer area of the metallogenic pluton.

    Abstract: In a method for determining metallogenic potential of a porphyry by using trace elements and a B isotope of tourmaline, redox properties of magma is determined with Fe3+/(Fe2++Fe3+) of tourmaline; then a water content and a content of metal Cu of the magma are determined with contents of H2O and Cu in the tourmaline; and a source of the magma is determined with a B isotope of the tourmaline, the water content, oxygen fugacity and metal content and source of the magma are finally determined, and finally, whether the magma has metallogenic potential of a porphyry is comprehensively determined. The present disclosure determines a key control factor of porphyry copper with a mineral of the tourmaline, and overcomes the difficulties in low efficiency, a long period and high cost of a traditional method for determining metallogenic potential.

This technique uses the erase process to predict future word line to memory hole shorts and prevent programming of memory cells predicted to have a future word line to memory hole short so no data will be lost when the short manifests.

The wave-energy-harvesting-device main body further includes a driving assembly and an energy-storage assembly. The driving assembly is configured to switch the hydrofoil assembly and the yaw assembly in the first state and the second state to each other. The energy-storage assembly is configured to store the wave energy harvested by the hydrofoil assembly. When the hydrofoil assembly and the yaw assembly unfold, the hydrofoil assembly increases the efficient area for wave-energy harvesting.
