    Abstract: The present invention discloses a wireless network access control method and an apparatus. The method includes: configuring, by a wireless network, an independent access control parameter for each network slice, so as to implement differential access control, by the network, on access to different network slices that is initiated by a terminal device. In addition, a core network or a radio access network initiates network slice overload control or a network slice access control parameter adjustment based on resource usage of each network slice in the network. By separately controlling and adjusting the access control parameter of each network slice, it is ensured that impact between network slices is minimized.

The CTS scheduling information may explicitly include time resource and frequency resource for the UE to transmit the CTS. The CTS scheduling information may implicitly indicate the time and frequency resource for the UE to transmit the CTS. Based on the explicit or implicit schemes of the present application, the scheduling signaling overhead can be reduced and the co-existence problem between LTE-U/LTE-U or between LTE-U/Wi-Fi can be efficiently mitigated.

The method comprises: selecting a carrier group from a plurality of carriers as a synchronization carrier; determining a transmission synchronization boundary based on an extended CCA performed on the synchronization carrier; performing an initial CCA for the plurality of carriers; and determining that transmission is to be performed on at least one of the plurality of carriers based on at least one of the result of the extended CCA and the result of the initial CCA. The embodiments according to the present disclosure require only performing eCCA on the carrier group selected as the synchronization carrier. Compared with Wi-Fi, the LTE system can compete with Wi-Fi more fairly, and compared with the traditional solution it is more possible to obtain some carriers in the unlicensed spectrum.

The acceleration data can be segmented using a segmentation algorithm to identify a potential fall event. The segmentation algorithm can determine a cumulative sum of the acceleration data, where the cumulative sum is based on acceleration values being greater than or less than an acceleration threshold value, and a potential fall event can be identified where the cumulative sum is greater than a cumulative sum threshold value. Statistical features can be extracted from the segmented acceleration data and aggregated, and a determination can be made as to whether the potential fall event is a fall event based at least in part on the statistical features.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a use of an inorganic salt or acid capable of producing free phosphate or fluoride ion in reducing the hardness and/or alkalinity of a water system containing residual antiscalant. In the lab test, it is found that the addition of a suitable amount of sodium phosphate or sodium fluoride may induce alkalinity reduction as well as hardness reduction. The production efficiency can be enhanced since the scaling was relieved and heat exchange efficiency can be improved. Meanwhile, lower scaling stress also means lower antiscalant dosage and cost, and thus the total operation cost can be reduced.
