  • Publication number: 20070151189
Abstract: A securing device has a base with two longitudinal sides, an extended tongue, a rib, two buffers and at least one pin. The extended tongue is formed on one of the longitudinal sides on the top surface and has a first mounting slit defined in the inner surface of the extended tongue. The rib is formed on the top surface of the base to form a receiving recess between the extended tongue and the rib. The rib is aligned with the extended tongue and has a second mounting slit. The at least one hole is defined in the base at the other longitudinal side. The two buffers are respectively mounted in the first mounting slit and the second slit. The at least one pin is mounted respectively in the at least one hole. With the two buffers, the noise caused from piecing the floor plates will be reduced.

  • Patent number: 7152834
Abstract: An adjustable attachment device includes a clamping member for securely clamping a tubular member, a sleeve securely mounted to the clamping member, a ball received in the sleeve, a connecting seat having a portion securely coupled to the ball to move therewith, and a resilient member. The sleeve includes a longitudinal through-hole. Further, the sleeve includes a cutout passing through an upper end of the longitudinal through-hole. The resilient member biases the ball to press against a spherical upper wall section of the sleeve, thereby retaining the connecting seat in place. The connecting seat is pressable to compress the resilient member and cause the ball to disengage from the spherical upper wall section of the sleeve, allowing the connecting seat to move along the cutout of the sleeve and allowing the connecting seat to turn to a desired orientation relative to the tubular member.

  • Patent number: 7127688
Abstract: To estimate a distribution of voltages or currents in the layers of a multi-layer circuit, an exemplary current flow in each layer is discretized into a number of current vector elements and at least one scalar charge element related to the charge associated with each current vector element. A first distribution of voltages induced in each circuit layer is determined from current vector elements in all of the circuit layers. A second distribution of voltages induced in each circuit layer is determined from the scalar charge elements in all of the circuit layers. For each circuit layer, the first and second distributions of voltages induced therein are combined to determine an actual distribution of voltages in the circuit layer.

  • Patent number: 6466271
Abstract: A method of smoothly displaying field videos in an interlaced display according to the invention. In a currently-exiting interlaced display system, the sequence of a scan timing with a top scan timing, a bottom scan timing, a top scan timing, a bottom scan timing . . . , should be consistent to that of field number with a top field, a bottom field, a top field, a bottom field, . . . In the invention, a top or bottom field can be inserted/skipped right after any one field displayed. During inserting/skipping, a new top field which is created from the bottom field or a new bottom field which is created from the top field, is displayed at a corresponding scan timing, thereby efficiently preventing a TV screen from jitters, resulting in smooth display.

  • Patent number: 5908747
Abstract: A multi-step method of detecting a gene in a nuclear chromosome which is involved in mitochondrial recombination is disclosed. The method disclosed includes the steps: a) fusing enucleated .omega..sup.- mitochondrial donor cells expressing a first marker gene with nucleus-containing .omega..sup.+ mitochondrial recipient cells expressing a second marker gene different from the first marker gene to form fused cells wherein the fused cells have one type of mitochondria and b) selecting fused cells that are .omega..sup.+ and express the first and second marker genes to identify those enucleated .omega..sup.- mitochondrial donor cells with a reduced recombination frequency. The method includes the further steps of judging that the gene in a nuclear chromosome of the recipient cells involved in mitochondrial recombination is normal when the mitochondrial recombination frequency is high or that the gene is mutated when the recombination frequency is low.
