    Abstract: This application discloses a sounding reference signal (SRS) sending method, a resource configuration method, and a related device. It may be applied to a scenario where there is a discrepancy between uplink and downlink antenna structures of a terminal device. In the method, the terminal device sends a first SRS using a first SRS resource configured by a network device, and sends a second SRS using a second SRS resource configured by the network device, where a transmission beam of the first SRS resource is different from a transmission beam of the second SRS resource. This satisfies a requirement for measuring downlink channel state information in a scenario where there is a discrepancy between the uplink and downlink antenna structures of the terminal device. Consequently, downlink transmission weights can be calculated, thereby implementing SRS-based downlink transmission and increase cell-level or UE-level capacity.

    Abstract: In this application, a terminal apparatus receives a first common signal, which is one of the plurality of first common signals that are sent by a network apparatus on a plurality of time-frequency resources. The plurality of time-frequency resources correspond to N time domain resources and M frequency domain resources, where N is a positive integer and M is an integer greater than 1. By allowing time-frequency resources to span multiple frequency domain resources, flexibility of sending the first common signals is enhanced for the network apparatus. In addition, because the plurality of first common signals may occupy the plurality of frequency domain resources, a quantity of time domain resources occupied by the plurality of first common signals may be reduced, leading to lower energy consumption.

In this application, the relay device forwards, based on forwarding gains corresponding to different resource information, a signal received on the first time domain resource. A coverage enhancement capability of the relay device can be improved in this manner.

When the beam is indicated or activated, the terminal device is triggered to perform channel measurement, to implement low-latency and low-overhead channel measurement.
