  • Publication number: 20210090653
Abstract: In a particular implementation, a method includes: providing a first voltage to a word-line coupled to a first transistor device; providing a second voltage to a bit-line coupled to the first transistor device; providing a third voltage to a source-line coupled between a programmable resistive device and a voltage control element. Also, the first transistor device is coupled to the programmable resistive device and the voltage control element, where the programmable resistive device is configured to replace a first data value by writing a second data value in the programmable resistive device. Moreover, in response to a voltage difference across the programmable resistive device exceeding a particular threshold, limiting the voltage difference by one of reducing the second voltage on the bit-line or increasing the third voltage on the source-line.

  • Publication number: 20200408728
Abstract: Technologies are described related to determining conditions for the purification of proteins. In some implementations, models can be generated that predict yield and purity for various chromatographic techniques at a number of pH levels and salt concentrations. Training data used to produce the models can be obtained by running chromatography columns using stationary phase materials of different chromatographic techniques at various combinations of pH levels and salt concentrations. In additional implementations, the training data can be obtained by analyzing solutions included in a subset of wells of a multi-well plate, where the subset of wells are associated with particular salt concentrations and pH values for a particular stationary phase material. Further, the models can be used to determine optimized conditions for the purification of various proteins based on maximizing yield and purity, while minimizing cost.

  • Publication number: 20200410333
Abstract: A multiply-accumulate method and architecture are disclosed. The architecture includes a plurality of networks of non-volatile memory elements arranged in tiled columns. Logic digitally modulates the equivalent conductance of individual networks among the plurality of networks to map the equivalent conductance of each individual network to a single weight within the neural network. A first partial selection of weights within the neural network is mapped into the equivalent conductances of the networks in the columns to enable the computation of multiply-and-accumulate operations by mixed-signal computation. The logic updates the mappings to select a second partial selection of weights to compute additional multiply-and-accumulate operations and repeats the mapping and computation operations until all computations for the neural network are completed.

  • Publication number: 20200358674
Abstract: A network visibility appliance automatically and dynamically determines a data traffic sampling policy that it should apply, i.e., a policy for determining which flows the network appliance should forward to one or more tools. The technique can be used to adjust for changes in network traffic to avoid exceeding performance constraints (e.g., maximum throughput) of network analytic tools, while maintaining high efficiency of usage of the tools. In the technique, a policy engine monitors network traffic characteristics in a subscriber throughput table and dynamically determines a sampling policy to apply, so as to decrease and/or increase traffic throughput to a given tool, so that the tool is efficiently used.

  • Patent number: 10536504
Abstract: A cloud service stores and aggregates content that is obtained from different content sources using different protocols. For example, the content may include electronic messages, calendar information, contacts, social network content, feed data, search results, and the like. The cloud service aggregates content for each user based on the user's configuration settings. The cloud service may perform processing on the aggregated content before it is delivered and displayed to the user on the client device. For example, one or more views may be generated and stored by the cloud service before the view is requested from the client. Changes made to the aggregated content on the client may be synchronized with the content source. Searches may be made across all or a portion of the different content sources that are aggregated for a user.

  • Publication number: 20200004879
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for determining a crowdsourced association between a first user identifier, and a second user identifier for a user of a service accessible over a network. Service data are searched to identify users of the service having a potential association with the first user identifier. Users of the service are invited in turn to select one of the identified users in relation to the first user identifier. A tier of linkage is determined, from at least two defined tiers, between a user making the selection and the selected user. A vote is recorded, of the determined tier, for the selection. A threshold is assigned to votes according to the tier of linkage so that if the votes of at least one of the defined tiers achieves its assigned threshold, it may be determined whether the first user identifier is associated with the respective second user identifier.
