  • Publication number: 20220264383
Abstract: Embodiments include methods, performed by a mobile terminal (MT) of an integrated access backhaul (IAB) node in a radio access network (RAN), for reporting capabilities of cells in the RAN. Such methods include detecting one or more cells in the RAN and determining whether the one or more cells support IAB (e.g., by receiving information broadcast by the respective cells). Such methods also include sending, to a centralized unit (CU, e.g., of abase station) in the RAN, a measurement report including an indication of whether the one or more cells support IAB. Various techniques can be used to indicated IAB support. In some embodiments, the MT can receive a reconfiguration message, from the CU, for a handover to one of the cells that supports IAB. Other embodiments include complementary methods performed by CUs, as well as MTs and CUs configured to perform such methods.

  • Publication number: 20220095156
Abstract: A method performed by a first radio network node for handling communication in a wireless communications network providing, is provided. The wireless communications network comprises the first radio network node (131) and a second radio network node (132) relaying data packets between a central network node (12) and a UE (10). The first radio network node is an intermediate network node between the second radio network node and the central network node. The first radio network node detects (701) congestion over a link towards the second radio network node. Upon detection of the congestion the first radio network node adds a marking in a header in a data packet and transmits (702) the data packet towards the second radio network node.

  • Publication number: 20220030456
Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to e.g. a method performed by a first network node (12) for handling communication of data of a first user equipment, UE, (10) in a communication network. The first network node initiates a measurement of interference from a second network node (13) towards the first network node, and/or from a second UE (10) of the second network node (13) towards the first UE of the first network node (12), wherein the measurement is based on a knowledge of time division duplex, TDD, configuration of the second network node (13), and wherein the first network node is operated by a different operator than the second network node.

  • Publication number: 20210328749
Abstract: A method for interference coordination comprises receiving, from a first network node, a reference signal indicating that one or more second network nodes are experiencing interference. The reference signal indicates at least one identifier for the first network node and for the second network nodes. The method further comprises preparing a remote interference management (RIM) coordination message based on the reference signal, and sending, to the first network node, the RIM coordination message to be forwarded to the second network nodes. The method provides a communication between a central aggressor network node and a central victim network node to exchange reference signal and RIM coordination information.
