  • Publication number: 20130146796
Abstract: A solenoid valve is disclosed that includes at least one chamber which can be filled with a fluid and which is provided in a housing of the solenoid valve, a closing piston which can be displaced by an actuation device and a spring element which can act against the actuation device. An annular element which divides the chamber into a first and a second sub-chamber is provided, said annular element being at least partially, in particular completely engaged in the axial direction by a closing piston of the solenoid valve arranged in a guide opening of the annular element and comprises at least one fluid passage recess which is different from the guide opening.

  • Publication number: 20120129159
Abstract: The present disclosure provides compositions and methods of use thereof for labeling peptide and proteins in vitro or in vivo. The methods described herein employ lipoic acid ligase or mutants thereof, and lipoic acid analogs (e.g., lipoic acid analogs comprising a resorufin moiety) recognized by lipoic acid ligase and lipoic acid ligase mutants. Also provided herein is a method of imaging protein-protein interaction via a reaction mediated by lipoic acid ligase.

  • Publication number: 20100264342
Abstract: The invention relates to a valve cartridge for a solenoid valve, having a capsule, a magnetic armature that is movably guided within the capsule, a valve insert that is inserted into the capsule at a first end, and a valve body, which is pressed into a second end of the valve insert and has a main valve seat. The magnetic armature, moved by a generated magnetic force, moves a tappet guided within the valve insert. The tappet has a closing element with a sealing element which plunges into the main valve seat of the valve body in a sealing manner for carrying out a sealing function, and an associated solenoid valve. According to the invention the valve insert is configured as a one-part slotted bushing, and the valve body is configured as a bonnet-shaped bushing. The valve body configured as a bushing is pressed into a second end of the valve insert configured as a slotted bushing such that the main valve seat is disposed within the valve insert.

  • Publication number: 20060081803
Abstract: An electromagnetically actuatable valve for braking force systems in motor vehicles, has a valve housing, with tappet element axially displaceable in the housing cooperating with a valve body and forming a sealing seat at a sealing face. The valve housing has a plurality of radially extending pressure medium outlet bores which are covered by a filter element. The disposition and embodiment of the outlet bores results in a flow course for the pressure medium that reduces the flow resistance of the valve and thus improves the valve properties.

  • Patent number: 6394414
Abstract: An electronic control circuit for controlling an electromagnetic valve having an armature, in particular for a heating and/or air-conditioning system in a motor vehicle, has an electronic switching element in series with the coil of the valve and is characterized in that the switching element controls the valve voltage (or the valve current) applied to the coil so that the valve voltage reaches a first value when the valve is switched on; then the valve voltage is reduced to a second value which is lower than the first value; and thereafter the valve voltage assumes a third value which is greater than the second value and represents a holding voltage for holding the armature in its switched-on position.
