Abstract: An exhaust pipe system for conducting exhaust gas from a combustion device to an exhaust system includes a first exhaust pipe with an inlet end and an outlet end, and a second exhaust pipe having a first line end and a second line end, wherein the inlet end of the first exhaust pipe is connectable to the first line end of the second exhaust pipe via a detachable coupling connection. A locking member is arranged to be movable between a closed position closing a passage and an open position opening the passage inside the first exhaust pipe. When the coupling connection is released, the locking member is automatically arranged in the closed position, and the second exhaust pipe has an actuating member which, when the coupling connection is established, urges the locking member into the open position.

Abstract: A thimble that extends through an opening is a structural element comprising: a hollow body sized and shaped to extend through the opening; an exterior seal substantially extending around an exterior portion of the body that has a selected size and shape prior to installation through the opening and a different size and shape at a time after installation through the opening to substantially seal at least a portion of the opening against passage of moisture and/or ambient air between the opening and the hollow body; an anchor on one end portion of the hollow body to substantially fix one end portion of the hollow body to the element; and an interior seal sized and shaped to sealingly engage a throughpiece extending through the hollow body to seal at least a portion of the throughpiece to the hollow body against passage of moisture and/or ambient air between the throughpiece and the hollow body.

Abstract: Modular discharge structure for closed gas appliances having an inner end and an outer end, comprising: an outer tubular casing; an inner gas exhaust pipe, being placed inside the casing to define an annular supply line for combustion air therewith; a combustion air supply hood, forming a connection between the outside air and the annular supply line, and a combustion gas exhaust hood, forming a connection between the outside air and the gas exhaust pipe, and further comprising retaining means for axially keeping together, in series and in a mechanical and releasable manner, the casing, the combustion gas exhaust hood and the combustion air supply hood on the gas exhaust pipe.
