  • Publication number: 20070273567
Abstract: A method and apparatus for acquiring an analog signal. The method of the invention comprising the steps of acquiring a first portion of the analog signal by a first channel, the first portion of the analog signal spanning a first bandwidth range, and acquiring a second portion of the analog signal by a second channel, the second portion of the analog signal spanning a second bandwidth range adjacent the first bandwidth range. At least one spur in the signal acquired by the first channel corresponding to a portion of the analog signal that should have properly been acquired by the second channel is offset with an opposite spur in the second channel.

  • Patent number: 7171908
Abstract: A passenger ingress and egress system within a transit vehicle having a stairwell employs a movable platform apparatus in combination with at least one door of a sliding or plug type to accommodate variations in passenger ingress and egress platform facilities. The movable platform apparatus disposed under the floor section of the transit vehicle for interface with the low platform is deployed outwardly toward the outer surface of the transit vehicle for interface with the high platform. The travel of such movable platform apparatus can be achieved manually or assisted by a power drive mechanism. A locking means is provided for securing such movable platform apparatus at both deployed and stowed positions and can be manually overridden via a cable connected to the remotely mounted handle. Obstruction detection means is further provided to prevent deployment of the movable platform apparatus upon passenger presence within the stairwell.

  • Patent number: 7050918
Abstract: A digital group delay compensation system comprising a digital allpass filter that is utilized in an implementation phase; and a system that generates coefficients for the allpass filter used in the implementation phase such that the overall performance of a system is measured and optimized in a calibration phase.

  • Patent number: 6414953
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cross connect switch which allows different protocols to be used. The switch is made up of two cross point modules, one for transmission and one for reception. I/O blocks corresponding to each station or network interface are connected to the cross point modules. Each I/O block includes four differential pairs. The I/O block permits selective activation for transmission or reception of any of the four pairs. In addition, half duplex control logic is used to implement protocols using a single differential pair for both transmission and reception. Also a token ring interface is included on the I/O blocks in order to allow detection and generation of phantom DC currents necessary for operation with token rings.
